This place is amazing! The staff was super and the food was amazing! We had the quesa birra tacos. They are one of my favorite dishes and I have ordered them several places. These were by far the best!
Go check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

I love coming here for brunch! Today I took myself on a solo breakfast date and wow, everything was so tasty. I’m honestly surprised this buffet isn’t packed. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality of food and the great service you get.

Chips & Salsa were great. Had to pay for it though. Choriqueso was a good choice too but a little on the pricier side.

Did mess up our orders and checks. Not too bad of a first experience. But decent quesabirra! Looked like it was understaffed, so took a while but not a bad restaurant to try!

Absolutely delicious food! The Cochinta pibil tacos and Quesabirria were perfection, but I do not recommend the Baja tacos. Just not even close to the same quality as the other food on the table. The salsa and chips were also delicious with seasoned salsa rather than just tomato sauce some restaurants serve. The drinks were also super good with the spicy shots ranging in sweetness which was unexpected but very good. I will definitely be returning!

Great place to eat. A little bit on the pricey side but delicious.
We had ordered 2 Barritto(sp)? & 2 margarita it was $60.
Our server Jeanie was AWESOME. She was very knowledgeable of all the food on the menu & bar drinks.

I’ll start by saying we’ve always had great experiences with this restaurant. We’ve been numerous times over the last several years. Tonight was one of the worst displays of customer service I’ve ever seen. We were sat and it was moderately busy but seemed as if half the restaurant was in the middle of closing their tabs. We sat for ten minutes before the host came by and apologize for slow service and that a server would be by soon. Multiple tables closed their tabs and left, the remaining tables had servers return to their tables multiple times giving them what looked like great customer service. Unfortunately, we were the lone table that didn’t receive the same level of appreciation. In the fifteen minutes between when the host apologized for the delay and when we finally left, we saw another table sat, two servers working on a single table, the table sat after us receive their drinks and chips and salsa. It almost seemed like employees were going out of their way to avoid our table. It was even more unfortunate that they didn’t even seem to care when I told them why we were walking out of the door. Hate to say it but we won’t be back.

Coming from Cali, I know me some tacos, especially birria tacos. Let me tell you that their homemade tortillas make such a difference!!! So delicious! They don’t skimp on the meat and cheese and the consomé makes it awesome!!! Good size tacos!
Service was great too: welcoming, friendly, and serviceable!! Omar?? Or was it Oscar?? (Oops) but he gave awesome service!
Oh yea, hubby also tried their Governador taco and he really enjoyed it too!

Will definitely return if I’m ever back in town Again!

Baja Tacos n Shots in Bettendorf never disappoints! I’ve been here plenty of times and have tried almost everything on the menu, and everything has been amazing. The burritos are huge, flavorful, and packed with all the right ingredients. But my absolute favorite has to be the quesabirria pizza! It’s an absolute game-changer! The blend of flavors and the crispy cheese is out of this world. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or grabbing drinks with friends, Baja Tacos n Shots has you covered. Great food, great vibes, and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Must try restaurant!!!

All three entrees that we ordered were great.

Food came out in a matter of minutes after we ordered so the service was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the environment is great. Side note, the playlist of music was awesome. Restrooms were clean and neat.

Menu items pictured include mini guacamole bowls with shrimp, Pescado (grill fish) tacos, and the steak & potato bowl

Also pictured are fresh chips and salsa and there signature Margarita flight consisting of lime ,peach, manago & pineapple

Establishment is big enough to host large parties of people. They do provide call ahead seating for small and large parties.
