This place is just so good, I honestly don’t even know how to explain it properly. It really is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant and definitely the best top quality Italian food around. Every single item on the menu is outstanding every single time, never once have we gone and had anything less than an amazing meal. My family goes here constantly because it’s just that reliable and that delicious. And the owners? They treat my grandparents like actual family. They’re genuinely some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet, and it shows in every interaction. The whole vibe is warm, welcoming, and so genuine. And the food… unreal.

The boneless chicken dishes are on a different planet. They pound the chicken so thin—like literally the thinnest, most perfect delicious cutlets I’ve ever seen—and they’re always full of flavor, super high quality, and just ridiculously good. Their chicken parmigiana and chicken francese? Best we’ve ever had anywhere. No competition. If you like chicken, order anything and you’ll be happy.

The seafood is just as amazing: fresh, beautifully cooked, always presented like they truly care. We’ve tried so many specials over the years and every single one has been perfect. It’s BYOB, which makes it even better.

I recommend this place to literally everyone. It’s honestly a gem, and once you go, you get it. Definitely try to make reservations because they stay busy … but for good reason. This restaurant is seriously incredible. Go here!!!!

The restaurant is elegant and comfortable. The food is up to the restaurant’s standards and very delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. The seafood is very fresh, the pasta is springy and chewy, and the chicken is tender. I ordered GAMBERI POMODORO ($34), POLLO PAR ($30), and GNOCCI VODKA ($35). I don’t know why the GNOCCI was more expensive than the seafood and chicken. I feel a bit ripped off.

Amazing little place. I am from the SW and SE and nothing like this anywhere down there. Highly recommend it as a local sent me to them while in Jersey and said get the special that is never on the menu, Pork Osso Bucco. It was fantastic, definitely authentic and old school feel!

I absolutely love this restaurant. We came to visit my Aunt and Uncle and they took my mom and I here. They are regular visitors here, I am guessing. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was so personable and they really make you feel at home.
The bread is fresh made and was so light. It melted in your mouth. They had mussels as an appetizer. I don’t care for them. I have not had a salad like they serve here. It was very good and looked appetizing. The taste of the salad dressing and salad made my taste buds pop. My mom had the veal marmalade. My aunt had the osso bucco. My uncle had the swordfish with risotto and a side of spinach, which shared with him. I had the lasagna and it was to die for!! The food was amazing and well worth the wait to have it. I had the best meal I have had in a long time. This, to me, was the best and trueest Italian restaurant I have ever been to.
If I could give you infinity amount of stars you would have them in my book.
Thank you so very much for an amazing meal and time to spend with my aunt and uncle, who I have not seen in 20+ years.
God Bless all of you. Keep doing you!!

Food and service always excellent. Menu and specials always excellent. Do make reservations.

We celebrated a friends birthday and in the past my husbands birthday. We have also dined there a few times. The food is very good, the staff is attentive and they have an extensive menu plus the daily specials! This is a BYOB restaurant and reservations are required. The parking lot is quite small but park across the street at night. This restaurant will be part of your repertoire once you try it.

I took a trip back to my grandma Colucio’s diner table tonight! ( my sweet little grandma from Italy). I had a meal that she would have been proud of! We start off with HOT Italian bread that had a perfect crust. We had some wonderful appetizers. The calamari was light and perfectly done and the fried zucchini flowers were delicious. My veal parmigiana was done perfectly and very tender. The side of spaghetti had a good red sauce. The ravioli is a big hit. Everyone in our party loved their meal. But save room… the deserts are big and delicious!!! Service was top notch and the owner was very attentive and friendly! My best advice is to get to this hidden gem and enjoy your way through the menu!!! NOTHING is bad! ( no i mean it Go now!)

Located in South Hackensack, my partner and I have been to this hidden gem numerous times for takeout. The size of the building at “I Gemelli” (The Twins) will fool you and be easily missed if you drive by too fast. The parking is rather limited, so it’s a good idea to try to make early reservations, which we did for dinner as first-timers tonight, thanks to our friend, Tracy. Upon entering this cozy family-owned, family-run establishment with 16 tables, we were greeted by the owners, Luigi and Severio, who felt that the two of them very much enjoyed being in the restaurant business and were promptly seated. The menu is extensive, with a wonderful selection of meat, seafood, and pasta, as are the specials. As an appetizer, we decided on one of tonight’s specials—the zucchini flowers. As our main meal, we opted for Pollo Alla Parmigiana with a side of spaghetti and Scallopine di Vitello Piccata with Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes. We even saved some room for desserts and got the pistachio cake and key lime pie. Complimentary bread served hot started our meal, followed by a nice house salad. The food is homemade, created with love, flavorful, and delicious. The staff is attentive and works collaboratively to keep things flowing seamlessly. The prices are high, but with the nice portions and the service they provide, it seems worth it. The fact that it is BYOB is simply a plus! We can recommend this place.

Upscale Italian cuisine with very attentive service. You can tell they want you to return. The food is delicious (well, what we had anyway) and the service is excellent. Get there early if you go on a Saturday as it gets very busy by 6pm. The parking situation is a little tricky, however. They have a parking lot that is a bit of a squeeze. It is best to back in to a spot (if you can find one). You’ll see what I mean if you go. I would gladly return here (especially if someone else is paying as the prices are a little high, but worth it).
