Generous Detroit-style pizzas & cheesy breads are dished up in this down-to-earth takeaway.

I had the burrata personal pizza and jalapeño and honey cheese bread and was blown away with how much flavor and texture they were able to get into everything. It’s the combination of soft, fluffy dough, flavorful sauces and toppings, and a perfectly crisp and crunchy base that made this really fun to eat. The restaurant’s decorated in a fun way too and you can take all of it in as you sit and wait for your meal to come out.

Pepperoni – classic and phenomenal. The other pizzas were great too. The atmosphere feels like childhood memories, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and most importantly – fast. The prices are a bit of a shock for pizza, but with a place like this and the whole vibe, it’s definitely worth it!

We kind of stumbled upon this place while walking around Rockefeller Center. What a find!! We sat at the bar. The Greek salad was phenomenal and Allie Mae suggested an off menu pizza, the Spicy Boy with vodka sauce. It was REALLY GOOD and the prices were very reasonable!! I’m usually not a thick crust pizza person, but it was crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. The food was great, but the star of the show was the service. Allie Mae was so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, these are qualities that are becoming less and less in wait staff, NOT here! Fantastic food and incredible service! Music playlist was top notch!!

Pizza was made fresh after we ordered it. I ordered BBQ chicken pizza with pineapple. I can’t believe how sweet was that pineapple. My husband & son ordered pepperoni pizza. They gave them generous amounts of pepperonis.

Delicious Detroit-style cheese pizza, satisfying sandwiches, all in a quick Midtown spot!
Stopped by Ace’s Pizza at Rockefeller Center and was genuinely impressed. The cheese pizza is exactly what you want from Detroit-style: thick, airy crust with perfectly caramelized, crispy cheese edges. Rich, cheesy, and super satisfying.
We also tried the meatballs and the spicy chicken parm sandwich—both were fantastic. The meatballs were tender and flavorful in a tasty sauce, and the chicken parm sandwich had a great kick with crispy chicken and bold flavor. Definitely one of the best chicken parms I’ve had from a quick-service spot.
Service was fast, and the location is super convenient in the Rockefeller Center concourse. Great for a quick lunch or a casual bite while exploring Midtown.
Highly recommend for anyone craving top-tier pizza or sandwiches in the area!

I can’t stop thinking about Ace’s Pizza! It was my first time trying it while in New York, and it definitely won’t be my last. I’m already looking forward to my next trip there. This location is inside Rockefeller Plaza, and there are two dining options available: you can either dine in or get takeout. When we arrived, it wasn’t too busy, and we were able to order right away.
Your pizza is baked to order and comes out fresh and hot. My husband and I each ordered a personal White Sesame pizza, which was plenty for us since we were on our own personal pizza tour. The pizzas are Detroit-style, and the White Sesame was delicious and unique. The sesame seeds and drizzled honey were excellent accompaniments.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, as well as the service. I can’t wait to come back! If you’re in the area, be sure to check them out–you won’t regret it!

So so so soooo good! Detroit-style pizza made to perfection!
I visited the Rockefeller Center location. Across the hallway from their takeaway spot, they have a small restaurant with tables and seats at the bar. I ordered a pepperoni (of course) and absolutely loved it! It was tasty, and the edges were crunchy with that bit of cheese crust—yum!
I love the low-key retro-inspired ambiance with the VHS cassettes and the old TVs. It is really curated!
Side note, if you get to meet the owner, Jesse, and you like basketball you won’t just enjoy a good pizza but a good sports convo too!

I’ve been a regular for a long time, and it was such a pleasant surprise to see a dine-in location right across when I returned to NY after a couple of years. The personal pizza is my go-to for lunch whenever I crave pizza—perfect size for one, with the Detroit style done just right. Service is quick and friendly, and the taste is always top-notch.

This little pizza joint offers an old school vibe with some seating at the bar and a few table/booth options. Its small, but the staff is fantastic and the pizza is out of this world. Reminded me of how we do it in Detroit! And yes, pineapple does belong on pizza. Carry on!
