It’s a small quaint place, probably holds 20 to 25 people approximately. ( stand corrected. 48 customer diner. I thank you and look forward to enjoying the pleasurable company at your diner.)They maybe have a staff of 12 to 15 workers. The food was cooked well. Did not have to wait long 15 minutes tops. Tasty, and very enjoyable. The coffee is great. Very pleasant and relaxing for any time.

We ordered soda for our drinks and they were so flat and watered down, then for appetizers we got mozzarella sticks which tasted ok but were more on the cold side. My brother got the chicken tenders and fries and the fries tasted good nice and crispy and hot. The chicken tenders were ok some of them were crispy and good while others were soggy. I got the waffles with Nutella and bananas the waffles were nice and fluffy though a bit dry. Overall my dinning experience here was ok probably would come back.

I have always been extremely satisfied With the taste, quality, and the freshness of the food, that I have ordered.
Recently, I’m on a new kick, chicken souvlaki. It was so delicious, I ordered it two days in a row. The second time, that I ordered it, I ordered two servings, No sides, just tzatziki sauce.
I have bought Chicken Souvlaki from a couple of Greek restaurants in the past and.
It’ was dry,, too salty and seemed as if, it was reheated. I have never ordered from them again, so I decided to buy it from Central Plaza diner.
Central Plaza Diner surpasses both Greek restaurants, that I have ordered from and I will buying the chicken souvlaki again. next week.
I do cook every day and enjoy eating, so since I have had such a positive experience with the food, that I have ordered, I decided to leave this review.
I rarely eat dessert and never had baklava before but just smelling it, I decided to taste it, but once I did, I finished eating the whole piece.

Came by for a quick late breakfast on a Saturday. The diner is small but comfortable. The staff and owner(s) were very friendly. Food portions and price were reasonable. Food was also delicious.

Compared with other diners around NY, this is definitely a small location with few indoor booths and tables. That definitely sets the stage and atmosphere for a friendly service and a hearty meal. The menu has the basic diner options, everything else followed suit. City prices. Free parking.

“Hidden gem” said another reviewer and they’re right. Came for breakfast-for-lunch on Thanksgiving. Food is fresh and delicious. Good value. Service felt a bit slow until we realized the incredible volume of take-out orders going out while we were eating…full boxes of complete turkey feasts. Recommended.

Been going to this family owned business for over 15 years. The food is excellent fast service. They have a variety of different menus for breakfast lunch and dinner. My favorite diner in all NY wouldn’t change it. My favorite breakfast place to go and their pancakes especially the pumpkin pancakes melt in your mouth. The staff are great super friendly Chris is wonderful knows our menu by heart never fails each time and is so welcoming. Jenniice is also super friendly and welcoming. Love Central Plaza Diner. Highly recommend them.
