At our St Albans, WV location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered 2fish and chicken dinners with loaded baked potatoes and a 4 piece chicken dinner we had to wait for long time to get our food then it was cold and the potatoes had been setting the cheese was hard the chicken was hard.i would have told them there but i knew there would be a scene cause my husband would have went off.crew wasn’t very friendly.one boy was trying to do inside and drive threw.here’s some pics of the food.i come there a lot and never have had any issues.

This location on Macorkle has really gone downhill in the last year. They have trouble taking our order and after they finally ring it up right then they give it to us always missing items. This past Saturday we could hear the employees arguing and using profanity loudly and repetitively. No wonder we were the only table on what is usually a packed weekend night for restaurants.

We had to wait for along time for our food. Then they missed our meal and did t even make it. We had to wait even longer. Everyone else who were waiting too got the wrong things or something was forgotten. Too many young kids working here taking care of their friends that came in to eat hang out instead of paying attention to doing their jobs. Worse service ever. We will not go back.

Went in to eat this afternoon, there was only one employee managing the drive thru and the front counter. The doors and windows in the front were dirty. Placed our order, paid, and went to get our drinks and find a place to sit. Every table/booth was dirty so we asked to change our order to go. While we were waiting, the employees in the back were tossing the to go order boxes up in the sevice window and the lids were popping open. A drive thru customer walked in because her order was wrong. When we received our order, the front staff opened our two boxed meals to check they were right and then bagged them. When we got to the car I checked our orders and they were both missing the hush puppies. So, I went back in to get them. The doors going out were nasty, I used my foot to push the doors open so I wouldn’t have to touch them. Ridiculous! We will never visit the Saint Albans store again. The food looked and was cooked properly but I sure hope we don’t get sick. I would call the manager to complain but obviously that is the problem.

Worst place for in the world for service waited 35 minutes for food to come to us while others folks waited 49 minutes and some an hour. 2 couples got refunds and left. All the kitchen was worried about was the drive thru and door dash. We asked to speak to the manager Mike and he would not even come out and speak to us. I will never go there again. No apologizes were made, no explanations and no refunds.
