If you’re Italian, you have to go here!! I grew up in Buffalo, and this place instantly took me back to those old-school deli sandwich shops. The second you walk in, you smell fresh-cut meats and spices, and you’re greeted by the sweetest woman taking orders on a little notepad. I ordered Don’s Super Italiano, and you can watch the guys behind the counter make each sandwich, clean, efficient, and working like a well-oiled machine. No fuss, no frills, just an incredible sandwich done right. This was my first time here and it won’t be my last.

Heard about this place for 5 years, finally in the area at lunchtime. We had the small tuna, split pea soup and roast beef sandwich. The tuna was Not to my taste, too mushy no real flavor. husband wasn’t happy with the texture or taste of roast beef. Soup was tasty! These 3 items, no drinks were $30 and we were Not full.

This is the place to go if you want a sub around here. Do yourself a favor: skip the chain sandwich shops and come into Don’s. They use Dietz & Watson, so you know it’s gonna be good and there’s enough meat on the sandwich that you’ll be satisfied. The rolls always taste fresh too.

I think this is the best “hoagie” shop ever. It is always incredible with perfect rolls and freshly cut lunch meat. Started going there almost 40 years ago when I was attending FIT. I miss Ruth and Don Sr. But Don Jr. continues the tradition with awesome eats.

First time.. won’t be the last.. wonderful family owned. Apparently has been here for many years. Hidden off Apollo dr between nasa and Babcock. Very large portions, everything made fresh to order . Even the meat is sliced to order. The tables were clean and it smelt clean throughout. Will be back… my new favorite place.. for great price. .

These hoagies were awesome! We ordered small #1 and they were very generous in size. The Italian style hoagie is classic. It brings a perfect balance of spices from the salami, sweet ham, and tangy vinaigrette. Delicious! The prices are very reasonable too. Great place with good kind service and traditional hoagies.

Loved it. Came during lunch rush on a Friday afternoon. It’s your classic no frills sandwich deli. They were slammed so I had to wait a bit for my sandwich but I did not mind. Got the super Italiano with everything on it and a side of macaroni salad. Sandwich was amazing and huge. Macaroni was good but a little sweet which isn’t my preference. Family establishment, the owner Don was making sandwiches so that was cool. All the folks working there were nice. Highly recommend

When I walked into Don’s and tried to place my order the man behind the counter ignored me entirely and struck up a conversation with another customer while I was standing right in front of him. Luckily an older woman noticed what was happening and stepped out from behind the counter to take my order. I don’t care how good your sandwiches are, if your customer service is this bad I’ll go somewhere else to buy a hoagie.
