Used to be mine and my friends go to spot and today we decided to stop by and try the big cantarrito that cost 240$!
In total we spent over 400$ here and towards the middle of the drink why did my friend take a drink and pulled out a whole toe nail or finger nail .. in the cantarrito that we drank for two hours from and it was not from us as we all had acrylic nails and our server who prepared it for us table side as well she was the sweetest !:( I’m so sad this experience ruined it for us cause it really was our favorite spot and they claimed to checked the bartenders nails and servers I truly think they didn’t believe us .. because after handing us the bill the server goes this is all I could do for you sorry it’s not my fault .. and you guys almost finished it so I can’t do much sorry we weren’t expecting to find a whole clipped nail at the bottom of a drink that’s meant to be consumed over time .. safe to say we will not be back they really lost them selves with the renovation .

First time coming, and I will say the staff was amazing. I love the decor. The margaritas were so good, as was the food. I will most definitely be back.

A hidden gem.

Food was great, at least the item I ordered which was the Papa’s con Chorizo.

Service was great. Servers were on point with their friendliness, taking the order, fulfilling the order and keeping an eye on drink levels for refills.

The atmosphere is intimate yet, open and open environment to entertainment. They had a live Mariachi band playing too. Pretty cool.

I would have loved to support this place. The person who served us identified himself as the owner to my wife and myself at the bar. Everything went great. We had a great conversation and we didn’t mind spending on the premium tequila. But when I got home and checked my receipt, he charges us as a large party and gave himself a $31.20 tip. That’s 20% percent tip for small party of two. I wasn’t aware of this tip and I still gave him the additional standard 20%. It’s a lack of integrity that leads me to give this poor rating. If anyone does go here, please make sure to check the receipt and check your credit card statements afterwards.

The charred octopus was absolutely amazing ! The dish was full of flavor, and paired nicely with an amazing mocktail. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and décor, which struck the right balance of intimate yet lively. The pricing was very reasonable for the portion size and vibe.I would I’d definitely return if I’m in the area again.

This was our first time so let me give you a piece of advice. KEEP CHECKING THE OPEN TABLE WEBSITE THEY FILL FAST.

It was 6pm on a Saturday night and opentable.com stated it was open seating until 8:40 BUT at 7:00 all tables were full except for one at 7:15 outside. We rushed (25 mins out) there. They told me I can be up to 15 mins late. I had a very hard time reaching them since they were SOO busy so I don’t blame them!
We got there and I love how they put so much time in the decor for the holidays. The waiter was very respectful and polite.
The one downside was sitting on the edge of the porch wasn’t fun since the mist was dropping big drops of water on us and the food.
For me VERY PRICEY! $17 for a small bowl of guacamole. $19 for two tacos is crazy but honestly was worth the taste and vibe. Only other thing was my food came cold. For the type of restaurant and price I didn’t expect to bite into a cold taco.
The alcohol was well mixed and some of the drinks had different tastes from your usual ones.
Parking was hard, the parking lot is so small.
Highly recommend the wine place next door as well!

My boyfriend and I chose to celebrate Valentine’s Day at this restaurant after reading numerous glowing reviews.
We booked our reservation a month in advance, anticipating the crowds that typically accompany this special day.
Upon arrival, the restaurant was extremely full, and parking was scarce, but we expected that and did not mind walking. After a short walk, we were greeted by the warm atmosphere inside, complete with heart balloons on the walls and roses adorning the tables; a lovely touch that added to the romantic ambiance.
The service was excellent, and the staff efficiently managed the packed dining area. Our food was delicious and very filling; we enjoyed an appetizer followed quickly by our entrees, which was understandable given the back-to-back bookings.
The special Valentine’s Day cocktails were a highlight, with some featuring an entertaining smoke and fog show that added a whimsical touch to our evening.
Although we were too full for dessert, we left eager to return and explore more of the menu.
The restaurant clearly put effort into making the evening special for all the couples and families celebrating. However, the quick service, while appreciated, sometimes felt a bit rushed. This was understandable given the volume of bookings, but it would have been nice to have a slightly more relaxed pace between courses.
Overall, I highly recommend it for its great food, quick service, and festive atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for any type of occasion, and we look forward to our next visit!

We’re doing happy hour.. The food is excellent. Drinks are superb. Everything is fresh. You get pretty good portions. WOW, I never give 5 stars to any restaurant. Expect to pay probably around $30 bucks for each person on happy hour. Otherwise, regular day is way more money, but it’s worth it. Service is great….. I do recommend this place …… we’re all come back with friends to make sure we get the same service. And everything is the same as the first time. We have guacamole, ceviche, taquitos, two fish tacos, and two drinks, “MAYAHUEL”

Not too busy when we stopped in, which made for a nice, chill vibe. The atmosphere walks that moody-modern line with dim lighting with bold pops of color and the music stayed at a good volume (read: I didn’t have to yell over my queso fundido). It looks like there’s patio seating, but we weren’t offered it.

We came for happy hour, which is fairly limited: four apps, tacos, cheesecake, and four cocktails. But hey, $5 margaritas? I’m not mad.

Mayahuel – tequila, St. Germain, lime, agave, pineapple chunks. Not too sweet, nice and balanced. It’s definitely a tequila-forward drink, so if agave’s not your amigo, this might not be your jam. Bonus points for the pineapple wedge, because who doesn’t love their fruit pre-soaked in liquor?

Lemon Drop Martini – vodka, Cointreau. This one missed the mark for me. Way too sweet, with barely any lemon, and the sugar rim overpowered everything. Also, a plastic martini glass for these prices? That was a buzzkill.

Cantarito – tequila, fresh OJ, lime, Squirt. Dangerously drinkable. Bright, fizzy, refreshing. I’d like to officially file a complaint that these are only $8 during happy hour, because I would absolutely drink four without noticing. 9/10, would sip irresponsibly.

Quesabirria Tacos – The birria was chef’s kiss. Tender, juicy, rich: exactly what you want when you’re wrist-deep in consomé. That broth? Deep red, glossy, and packed with deep beefy flavor. My only beef (pun intended) is that the cheese was tucked inside instead of crisped up on the outside. Also, who decided to garnish tacos on top with raw onions?

Carne Asada Tacos – Grilled skirt steak, two per order. No cheese crust, no cheese inside, just cheese vibes, apparently. My husband liked them, but I found them pretty forgettable. The avocado slice felt more like a peace offering than a flavor booster.

Queso Fundido – We added chorizo because of course we did. It was fine. Super oily, and the cheese didn’t melt well and it separated fast. Hot tortillas and the smoky salsa on the side helped save it, but overall it was a little meh.

Service was decent, drinks were solid, and the food wasn’t bad, but nothing really wowed us. Between the limited happy hour and the regular menu prices, we’re not in a rush to come back.
