I stumbled upon this bagel spot while trying to find a new go-to in the area—still getting my bearings since I just started working nearby. A quick Google search led me here, and I’m glad I checked it out!
The inside was clean and had a decent amount of space, which is always a plus. The staff was super friendly and immediately greeted me. They were also patient and understanding since it was my first time visiting. They let me know it’s a kosher restaurant, which means no meat on the menu—definitely a bit of a letdown since I had my heart set on a bacon, egg, and cheese.
I decided to switch gears and ordered an egg bagel with cheese and black pepper. I’ll admit, it was a good bagel—fresh, flavorful, and nicely toasted. But I couldn’t help but miss that extra savory punch from some meat.
Would I come back? Maybe, but only if I was craving a simple butter bagel or another egg and cheese fix. It’s a solid spot for what it is, but meat lovers might feel like something’s missing. Still, worth checking out if you’re in the area!

luv the bagels here. so yummy. that being said. if i have to pay $12.50 for two bagels(one with plain cream cheese and one with veggie cream cheese) i would expect two different knives to be used so i don’t have to taste the veggie in my plain cream cheese.

$15 for a flavorless everything bagel with flavorless egg salad. The everything on my everything bagel tasted like nothing. Had I known this I would’ve asked for salt and pepper for the egg salad to give it a little razzle dazzle. However, the service was impeccable.

Yes! Finally our search has ended. We found our new source for bagels. Our old bagel place closed. After trying Long Island Bagel cafe and being disappointed, we decided to try Bagel Boss.
We picked up a mixed dozen bagels, half egg bagels and half egg everything bagels. We were not disappointed.
The bagels were of good size, texture, flavor, freshness and cooked evenly. The service was excellent, prompt, friendly and professional.
The interior has a nice wide open feel to it with the service counter running the length of the left side and bagel selection at the end.
We were delighted with our purchase and definitely be back

Over $5 for a bagel with butter. Bagel was good, but prices are higher than Manhattan. I hadn’t been here in years, I only visit Long Island occasionally. Not sure if new ownership, but, I will find a new bagel spot next time I visit.

Gonna give a real simple review here.
I ordered a corn muffin, potato peroegi and a piece of fried eggplant.
The corn muffin was fried and hard. (Couldn’t finish it)
Eggplant tastes like soap and has a strong freezer taste. ( One bite and tossed it)
Peroegi was average.
Food was a little pricey especially for the quality.

Classic bagel place. I used to come here years ago. They’ve downsized the shop but kept the same quality bagels. Can’t go wrong with Nova and some coleslaw.

Now this is what you call an authentic bagel shop.The bagels were the perfect size and it was crispy outside and chewy inside as a bagel should be. The prices are not cheap but what you get is a great bagel that is the standard that others try to make but fail. Saturday mornings the lines were out the door but the staff hustle and bustle to keep the lines moving. Customer service is always very good and the Kosher status keeps only soy bacon on the menu which was pretty good with my egg and cheese.

Not all the food is amazing, but for the most part, the food is delicious. The staff works very hard there and they are always so kind. I see them put up with a lot of out of line customers, and they handle it always with grace and patience. I like this place. What I would change is clearer signage for ordering, waiting, paying etc., there’s always a lot confusion where to stand. So better signs, or a taped floor, something.
