Traditional brick oven pizzeria. Their pizza crust is great, its crisp but not too thin, light and airy. Their staff is always so friendly. We come here most Friday evenings for our pizza (and sometimes cheesesteak) cravings. This spot has been there for years. If you are in the neighborhood, definitely worth a try.

Last time they gave me massive and delicious strombolis. This time the strombolis were half the size and tasted terrible, and one had sausage after explicitly stating no sausage. Totally different crew making the strombolis. I called for a refund and the manager insists this is my fault because strombolis always have sausage, despite the fact the second stromboli he gave me had no sausage. Spoke to 3 different people and the most they offered was to refund that single stromboli. No thought to accommodate the customer for the trouble, stress and inability to have enough food for his guests. Very disappointed because I thought I found a reliable and friendly local pizzeria, but now the search continues.
The owner has replied to my review. I kept my initial review short, but if she wants all details public, glad to oblige. Thank you for highlighting the issue here: the insistance that I placed the order incorrectly, not taking any accountability that they made the order incorrectly. The initial offer was for me to drive back to the pizzeria (on my time and gas) to pick up a cash refund for the single incorrect stromboli. I was shocked that this was the offer made given all the trouble I went through, berating by the manager of not knowing what a stromboli is, and embarrassment of not having enough food for my guests.
The owner called me and said she takes her product seriously and was willing to work with me. She insisted she treats her customers like family. I said that given all the trouble I faced, a refund on just that item is not sufficient, because that is just like I did not order the item in the first place, and doesnt take into account all the hassle, time and problems this mistake costed me.
I requested $40 back, not the entire $60 order amount as the owner claims (stromboli costs $22). She mockingly replied that if I gave these type of refunds to customers, she wouldnt have a business. She offered to have her delivery guy drive over $30. So, she felt that my trouble and amenably rectifying this situation was worth no more than $8. Great decision. Enjoy the $10 you saved, because you lost many times that amount in future business.

CONs – nothing much except parking .
Was in metuchen area and wanted to pick pizzas and strombolis and went here . Good interiors and chairs inside to sit and eat . There are also a couple of tables outside to enjoy the cool breeze . Nice and quick service . We ordered a Stromboli (cheese and spinach) , pizza and cheese freschetta.
They made them quick and it tasted good .
Parking is the only issue here . Main Street is busy and tough to get parking . There are some paid parking on the backside .. today we luckily got a free parking on the main road . Nice experience overall. Pizzas and Strombolis tasted good . Paid about 16$ for all 3, which isn’t bad .

Nice pizza place overall. Great pizza and wings. They need to get better chicken for the chicken parm, but their other meals are good. They have a lot of speciality pizzas to choose from. The staff is also friendly and there’s a pleasant overall atmosphere. I’d recommend going here if you’re looking for a good slice of pizza.

Small storefront pizza place on Main Street Metuchen. I had baked ziti with sausage, which came with both vodka sauce and mozzarella, and was above average. Sausage placed on top was good. Basket of bread was soft and fresh. Small dining area with six tables, and friendly service. I’ve had the pizza here on prior visits and was typical but good. Prices not too high.

Antonio’s is a small brick oven pizzeria in the heart of Metuchen. The atmosphere is casual and I really appreciated the various paintings, awards, and art hanging around the restaurant. This decor really added a level of comfort to the restaurant that gave it more of a friendly, neighborhood restaurant feel. While the restaurant is small, there is still a decent amount of seating. The service was quick and our server was very friendly.
We decided to order the Margherita pie. The crust was beautifully browned in the manner that only a wood oven can do. It was fluffy and had a pleasant smokey flavor. The cheese was fresh and the tomato sauce was rich and tangy. The added tomatoes also tasted great and added a level to this Margherita pie, though they also brought an added bit of messiness, as they had the tendency to slide off of the slice. Overall, I was very pleased with the flavors I got from the pie and definitely hope to try their deep-dish Margherita and see how that compares.

Today, my family and I decided to eat at Antonio’s Brick Oven Pizza. However, we were shocked by the rude and unprofessional service from one of the employees. While dining there on August 10, I witnessed the staff give another family a horrible attitude when they politely tried to point out a mistake in their order. They had ordered a large pizza, but the one they received was a medium at best. When they showed the staff, the blonde-haired female employee not only denied the mistake but also refused to fix it. She even got in the face of one of the family members, which was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place because of her behavior.
