I ordered to go. I talked with the owner while I waited for my food he was a super nice guy. Food portions were so small for the price my wife’s shrimp entree had literally one shrimp. I really wanted to like this place but id advise you to take your $ elsewhere.

Based on some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant, but Toast turned out to be an excellent choice for a nice dinner , while still maintaining its cool sports bar vibe. They have a variety of food, different cuisine and drinks on the menu – there’s something for everyone to choose from, including vegan choices. Our Calamari rings were crisp and delicious, as was the Chicken. The service was excellent and our waiter was fantastic and attentive, though the food took a while to come out, we had been warned in advance and with consistent checks on our table, and we liked the attention! My overall experience was excellent – a delicious complimentary treat provided on the house by the host upon hearing about my Wife’s birthday made the experience overwhelmingly awesome! I will recommend to anyone!

Food was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered spring rolls and spicy chicken 65 for appetizers. Main course was their Butter chicken and Chicken Tiki Masala with garlic Naan….and it was so tasty! Recommend stoping by to complete your trip of the Lake. Great jobs you guys!

I went with a couple of my friends to Toast after learning about the change of ownership and not knowing what to expect. We all had some very delicious appetizers – Spicy Masala Fries, Onion Rings, Indian Samosas with Mint Chutney. They all were very delicious, piping hot and all made fresh. The Salmon Curry was so authentic and original and tasted so good with the butter naan. All the food came out quickly after the appetizers and the service was just superb! Recommend them highly and we’re certainly coming back for more!

Well guys if you want to try the worst indian food in town this is the place, you guys should try this place bcz they serve the best leftover food to the customers by just puting the left over tandoori chix and chix pakora in the microwave and re heat it.
So the owner of this restaurant i have a question for you if you ever go to a restaurant and they serve a disgusting food like this which you have served us today,what are you going to do?
I want to know your answer?
And remember every customer is paying money to eat a good food and please dont try be selfish about puting some bucks in your pockets and serving the worst indian food please dont bring a bad name to the community bcz of you guys.

My first time there tonight with my friends. The service was great and the food was amazing! We had the garlic naan, butter chicken and garlic chicken. f you’re looking for authentic Indian food, this is your spot!

Toast has a charming atmosphere (especially the outdoor patio), friendly service and excellent food.
It has a fantastic between Roundhill Beach and Zephyr Cove Beach (also near Nevada Beach). It is an excellent choice for busy Holiday or Summer weekends as you can still get a table and they even have FREE parking!
Toast Tahoe is under new ownership but my favorites remain (the excellent Toast burger and salads!). They have now ADDED authentic and flavorful Indian food. I love the Butter Chicken. You also must try the Naan (either plain, butter or garlic). They have a good beer and wine list too.
Bonus: the outdoor patio is even dog friendly!
Toast is a go-to destination for me in Tahoe. I highly recommend it. We love Toast. We always have a good experience.

Everything was great. I had chicken cordon bleu and hubby had lobster ravioli with white sauce. I had a tahoetini and he had the white mountain. I can’t wait to go back and try more! The only down side is the lack of central heating. We had an electric radiator next to the table but I am frozen still 30 minutes later. That is the only issue i had but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Highly recommend this place!
