Great quiet place for a good breakfast. We tried the breakfast tacos and the stuffed Biscuits and Gravy. I felt like the stuffed biscuit was similar to a fresh breakfast hotpocket. The service was good and the environment was easy to have a conversation in.

Traveling and needed some breakfast so we stopped here. It is adorable! The hostess was friendly and very sweet. The food was very yummy and delivered quickly! The creamer for my coffee came in cute little glasses as well. My only negative is they are a busy restaurant and it was a Sunday, so as soon as we were done we were served our check and felt a little rushed to leave. But we would come back again in the future.

We were there on 2/21 as I had been there before when I was in town for work so I took my wife and it was on a Sat. Needless to say, not going back. Wife got a sandwich and side with a iced coffee and I got ordered a chipolte chicken sandwich with fries and told them I wanted to add a side salad which was $5.99. Wife got her food and then I got my side salad at the same time as my fries which came in a bowl and it seemed weird (why wasn’t my salad out sooner and why did the food take so long in general as they didnt seem busy). My side salad seemed overpriced for what it was which was about a half a cup of lettuce, with a few soft diced tomatoes and super watery ranch but that’s ok and not the issue. Finally got my chicken sandwich and it was 2 super thin peices of chicken that seems pounded out with a lot of thick breading that was tough to bite through. No pickle etc as well. I couldn’t even finish the chicken as it was so tough and seemed overcooked. No one came back to check on us at all as my wife wanted some ranch or something with her fries as the ketchup was out and what left in there was super watery. But here was the part that took the icing, I had ordered sandwich as is with the side of fries and then added a side salad for 5.99. Attached is my receipt and after the waitress argued it was cheaper to ring up the way they did it the manager came out and swore to me several times it was cheaper the way she did it. I finally just said forget it as she couldn’t see that the way she did it cost more. Picture attached. The way I ordered it would have cost $19.98 (13.99 + 5.99) but they entered it in as $21.47 (13.99 + 3.49 + 3.99). Its the fact that she came out and her words were “I swear this is the lower cost/cheaper way to enter and she was doing me a favor”. I inquired twice to how paying roughly 7.48 more vs only 5.99 more is cheaper and she just continued to argue and say she is correct. Maybe they can contact her and have her explain it if we are incorrect, but I know we are not.

Food. Good. Not amazing but good n Atmosphere? GREAT! but when i walk into a restaurant. I EXPECT you to have EVERYTHING on the menu in the kitchen. That is the downfall i had here. I wanted the veggie omelette and they were out of spinach. NEVER have i been to a restaurant that has been out of SPINACH!!! AT 8:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!! Also. Fix your greasy hashbrown. Omlette was good however. I might try it again. But it isnt on my go list

I’ve been to Sunny Street Cafe a few times now. It is a solid breakfast and brunch place. The restaurant gets a lot of natural light, and there is outdoor seating that works well when the weather is good. The food is consistent. Portions are good and prices reasonable. I have never had a bad meal here, but nothing has really blown my mind either. If you go in expecting a straightforward brunch menu, you will not be disappointed. Service has always been good. The variety covers the basics in a reliable way. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would recommend it, and I will probably go back.

I love coming here both for the food and service- they have the best Reuben and turkey club!
They also have some killer desserts/ sweets.

Thanks to their great kitchen staff, and Tracy- I always leave satisfied 🙂

*Edited to add that they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service- the whole team from Brian, Mary, Gabby, Tracy, and all others.
They remember you, your order, and are always welcoming. By far my favorite place to go!

I had the stuffed biscuits and gravy. Fabulous! Many pancake options. Service was excellent but we ate a late breakfast around 10:30 so it wasn’t real busy. Atmosphere was meh. Clean.

The welcoming environment of Sunny Street Cafe has kept us coming back every Saturday for a year. The full experience starts with Kim who greets you at the door with a smile, then waitresses Tracy and Mary make sure you have everything you need, and Brain the manager makes sure you we have great food EVERY time. This place has never missed the mark. If you go once you will find yourself becoming a regular. They get to know their returning people by name and are always happy to see you. Try it out if you have not been yet, you wont be sorry!
