Jesse’s On The Bay is an upscale, casual fine dining restaurant, known for outstanding steaks and fresh seafood recognized statewide. We are located directly on Mobile Bay and have incredible views of the coastline and sunsets over the water. We are accessible by car or boat as we have 16 slips for multiple size vessels. We also feature our Cold Hole open air bar and grill on the bay level. This is a more casual atmosphere for those that want to kick back with great food and an incredible waterside cocktail list.

We chose Jesse’s on the Bay for our wedding anniversary dinner and were absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The restaurant is beautiful, and the ambiance overlooking the bay at night was perfect—upscale yet totally comfortable.
The food was incredible; the steak was cooked to perfection and the fish was outstanding.
The true highlight of our evening was our server, Chauncey. He was genuinely amazing—attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration feel special. We had such a great experience from start to finish. The drinks came out quickly, the servers were attentive and efficient, and the food was excellent. I ordered the dry-aged ribeye with bone marrow butter, paired with risotto and the vegetable of the day (green beans), and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The view from our table was absolutely amazing and made the evening even more special. I couldn’t decide on just one dessert, so I ordered the trio and got to try three of their delicious desserts — every single one was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Came in on a Sunday night and absolutely blown away by the food, service, and incredible atmosphere. Highly recommend going right before sunset. Service was spot on with great attention to detail. And the food? INCREDIBLE.

The calamari is the best I’ve ever had, as far as its uniqueness.
We split the porterhouse. Perfectly cooked. Parm risotto was sensational.

Absolute best food (and service) (and views) I’ve had in a VERY long time. Ethan took care of us, and he was incredible. The lavender martini was to die for, bur so was everything else. Pictured: crawfish mac and cheese topped with lump crab, the redfish entree, and the grouper entree. Also the blackberry coconut marg and lavender martini. I am coming back to fort morgan for this place alone!!!!
Also – the restaurant is situated on a beautiful pier that is incredible for photos. Come right before sunset for the best views!!!

After a very long day of traveling, We found this wonderful place. When you first walk in the decor is very costal. Next you see a very impressive wall of bottled wine selections and refrigerated coolers displayed with quality meats. We were greeted and seated immediately. The bar and dining area was clean , properly lit and had an elegant and classy feel. We were dressed very casual and seemed to blend in just fine with the other diners.
Our waiter ( Joey) was very friendly and informative. I love that he asked me to cut my ribeye to see it was to my liking before leaving our table.
The manager also stopped to chat and was extremely personable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and grits which was flavorful and of plentiful proportion, complete with a Hazy IPA. I had the 16 ounce ribeye, it was cooked to perfection ( medium rare) topped with mushrooms and onions $8.00 add on… It came with the vegetable of the day which was blanched green beans and your choice of mashed ( my choice) or grits. Along with a very nice glass of Moscato. It was my boyfriends birthday so we shared a piece of lemon chess cake ( I believe that is what it was called). With a dollop of cake ice cream on top. It was very similar to a lemon bar. Very tasty! They even wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate sauce on the plate , complete with a candle . We had a very nice time and do plan on returning in the future. It was a great start to our vacation!

Jesse’s on the bay is the BEST place to eat if you’re in gulf shores. It was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection. The risotto and mash potatoes were amazing. We also got the cheesecake for dessert and it was also amazing. 10/10 restaurant for sure. From the food, service and atmosphere. We sat on the patio and the view was amazing. Overall amazing experience. Our server was Patrick and he was great. He was very knowledgeable and so kind. Will definitely be coming again!
