Unlike any arepa I had ever had. It was soggy and the flavors were quite unremarkable which is unusual. Looks like everything was just slapped on top. I didn’t eat much of it. Luckily, there were other vendors right there. They didn’t seem busy at all, but still took awhile to get the food out (15 minutes). Doesn’t leave much time when you only get an hour lunch. Thankfully, you get a pager and don’t have to wait there.

The family running the business is very welcoming and appreciative of their customers. The location is inside the Local Bites mall, downstairs. Please note that the correct address is 700 Locust St, not East Locust as currently listed on Google.

When we arrived, they were out of buñuelos but promptly started making some for us. They even offered us free water and chorizo while we waited, as we had a large order. We ordered empanadas, buñuelos, plátano maduro, caldo de costilla, and drinks including Manzana and Colombiana de Postobón. Additionally, they offer delivery through DoorDash, which is convenient when you’re in a hurry.
