This unassuming, reasonably priced place involves great Indian food experience, good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, catering to different dietary needs, which includes, flavorful fishes made to order, (for those of us who can’t have salt, they make any requested dish, with no salt involved), freshly baked naan, and dishes that cater to different spice preferences.
Dishes are absolutely always well-seasoned, with a good balance of spices.
The atmosphere is always welcoming, with friendly service, and generous portions. Attentive and knowledgeable staff who are happy to offer recommendations and explain dishes.
We’ve been coming here for years and converted many of our friends to Indian food, due to this place. The food and service never disappoints. From the hardworking owners to the amazing staff. Everything is absolutely delicious.

Great neighborhood family owned Indian restaurant. We have been coming here for years, and it seems to get better and better. This is the second year we ate their special New Year Buffet dinner. Delicious, ample and very reasonable. Seemed like more dishes than last year.

I ordered Channa Masala, and enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend getting some samosas and naan as well.

We have been going to Neelam for over 25 years and it is our absolute favorite Indian restaurant. The food is consistently superb and the setting gives it an authentic cultural experience. We cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant, from the food, to the warm-hearted service and value. Plus the fact that it is a family run business. Love everything about it.

The staff is always happy to see us when my partner and I visit. I recall my partner found this place years ago when he went to lunch with his Indian co-workers. They raved about the quality of the food. I don’t know much about the cuisine, but I do agree that the food’s really good.

We ordered garlic naan, chicken Tikka masala, and Matar Panir dishes. Then we also ordered the special for 2 that came with Mulligatawny soup, chicken tikka, Lamb Roganjosh, navrattan korma, seekh kebab, basmati rice, and regular naan. Plenty of food for 3 adults and 1 kid; we took home leftovers. Spice level can be customized (mild, medium or spicy). Only mild complaint is the restaurant is realy dark.

I am so happy I found Neelam Exotic Indian Cuisine. The house special combination was enough for 2 people. Reasonably priced! Everything was perfectly prepared to my request. I enjoyed my meal and will be back!!!

How is this place not packed 24/7?!?!? The food was amazing and the entire atmosphere was calm and inviting! I ordered a chai to drink and the waitress suggested the Channe Ki Chaat as an appetizer. I did not regret it! I also ordered the garlic nann and shrimp Tikka marsala for dinner with medium spice. It was perfect. It had just the right amount of heat to make you pause before the next bite but also kept the flavor. The prices are reasonable but I felt like it was a steal with how good it was.

We have, in the past, loved this restaurant. However, I wonder if they’re under new management. Went there one night – they said they had private party. We saw 1 long table & empty besides. The 2 servers wore masks. Ok… not tonight. Tried again at 8:49 – closing time 9pm; place empty; 3 servers with masks on standing there … nope -too late. Went to Italian next door – embraced us… what gives?
