Awesome place to eat in Bastrop. Had a wonderful meal this past Friday night. They bent over backwards to get us a table. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. I had the lamb chops and my friend had the pork chop. Both were top quality. Wine was great. Absolutely nothing negative to say

Great ambiance, attentive staff! Fantastic Happy hour $5 Martinis and discounted appetizers. The crab stuffed mushrooms fresh and delicious. Wedge Salad was crisp. We had the Ribeye with mushrooms & Bleu cheese toppings. Definitely our go to spot for date night!

Fantastic steaks, service and atmosphere. We arrived near the end of service and they were very welcoming. They also have a great whiskey selection. Highly recommend.

My husband and I ate here for new years. Expected a higher-end experience with the food than what we got. Atmosphere and service was amazing. The Lobster bisque soup was delicious, the bread was soft woth a breast crusty exterior, the Filet mignon was ok, the mashed potatoes were overly salted and I could not eat them, the green beans were well cooked but again overly salted (not as bad as the potatoes), the crab macaroni was good and the creme brulee was delicious.

Stopped by for an hour just to decompress and get out of the house for a minute. Thank you, bar keep for making me a negroni and your lovely attitude!

Everything was excellent. Ngl lie tho, I take the fam for steak ($120 drinks and tip) in Giddings that far surpasses my own ($70) Piney Creek Ribeye meal. Still, a pleasure to dine with them.

First time here. Drove by MANY times and never got the chance to stop until today. Tess, my server was very good and was attentive to any needs. She recommended the chop out of my selections and was an outstanding choice. The caprese was my appetizer and was very delicious. Not crazy about the elevator music or (light jazz) but it was relaxing. The ambiance was perfect for an evening out. I’m sure I will be back with my wife for a quiet date. Next time I’ll probably order a steak (porterhouse maybe).

Edit 2023-10-17:
We went back for my wife’s birthday recently. Service was okay (new waiter, so he gets a pass).

The hostess refused to let us sit in one of the many unused booths, claiming they were all reserved (on a Monday night). Not a single booth was used the entire time we were there. So that was obviously a lie…

Apparently the chef is new, and has no idea what they are doing. My steak was not cooked even close to what was ordered, so they took it back to fix it. When it came back, it was obvious that they had just tossed the whole play back in the oven on high heat. Yet, they did not check the steak as it was still undercooked.

Additionally, the chef did not know what a pepercord crust is on a steak. They initially thought that meant just dumping some peppercorn onto the steak.

They have definitely gone downhill…

Finally trying this place… Decent place…
Service was awesome.

Wife’s NY strip (Pittsburgh style) was amazing.

My Filet was a bit undercooked. Still had a good taste.
