Philly cheese steak was out of this world. Great fries with the right amount of crunch. Everything is made to order so call ahead. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Yes, this is located in a gas station and it is takeout only. Don’t let this stop you from a great meal prepared by someone who really cares about quality.

Came in for my first time today and I’m so glad I did. The catfish was perfect and the customer service was even better. AJ the owner was a delight to talk to while they made my order and he even gave me his signature drink to try and it was so good! It’s even better with a shot of pineapple new Amsterdam. Will definitely be back to try the Philly next. Also the portion was huge it’s enough to feed two or more people.

Fawzi Eatz is the definition of hospitality done right.
I ordered a catfish strip platter from this gas-station eatery inside the Rocket Stop, and was honestly blown away. The portion was huge — big, plump, perfectly fried and well-seasoned catfish strips, not those sad little scraps you sometimes get. It came with seasoned crinkle-cut fries, tartar sauce, hot sauce… and then the surprises started.
The owner threw in homemade collard greens just because, and even gave me his specialty drink — a mango and blue raspberry Kool-Aid he calls The Incredible Hulk. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made to order.
But what really set this place apart wasn’t just the food — it was the way I was treated. The owner was friendly, generous, and genuinely welcoming the entire time. As I was leaving, he stepped out from behind the counter, chatted with me on the way out, and only when I walked through the door did I realize the whole reason he walked with me was so he could open the door and send me off properly.
That last detail says everything. This guy understands hospitality at a level most places don’t even think about. You don’t just leave fed — you leave feeling appreciated.
If you’re anywhere near Blue Ridge Ext in Grandview and want great fried catfish, generous portions, and real old-school hospitality, do yourself a favor and stop at Fawzi Eatz. I will absolutely be back.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The Philly cheesesteak was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender meat and melted cheese. The catfish was just as impressive—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. On top of the food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly and correctly. Overall, great food and great service—I’ll definitely be back.

You can taste the quality ingredients. You get what you pay for. The Philly cheesesteak could easily feed two people. The fries were amazing and very crispy. I would suggest calling in your order as they are made fresh. Cheese cake is delicious!I would definitely say I got my $20 worth. Owner on site! This will definitely become a regular stop for me.

This is the REAL DEAL! The owner AJ is a genuine person and he’s doing his very best to offer delectable bites in the name of nourishing the community. Food is straight up .
Much respect to him because y’all know I cook, but this dude is puttin it ALL the way down with the Fawzi Cheesesteaks and the Fawzi Fried Fish. Offering Catfish and Basa to date. This is definitely hands down my “go to” spot for Cheesesteaks and that Fried Fish platter. The owner shared with us that Fawzi means “victory” and this food is victorious eating all the way.
Enough said because it’s LEGIT! Please support this local business and tell him A-Team Travels sent you. This guy is pursuing his passion and dreams. You can tell he truly cares about what he does and is putting his all into every delicious bite.

Ordered delivery through doordash, they were out of the jambalaya so the owner contacted us and did handled the situation amazingly 10/10 customer service. The food was also very tasty and surprisingly still super hot and fresh after being delivered. Definitely recommend. The catfish and greens are amazing.
