La Casita in La Quinta is one of those local places you look forward to visiting. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The salsa and chips taste homemade and the plates come out hot and generous. My personal favorites are the chicken & cheese enchiladas — everything is seasoned well and cooked perfectly. There is certainly better Mexican food in the Coachella Valley, but the cooks do a very good job.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service always feels personal. We were.sested promptly, but it took almost 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has that warm family atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Pricing is fair and portions are big enough that you usually walk out with leftovers.
Whether you’re local or just visiting the area, La Casita is a fantastic spot for a great Mexican meal in La Quinta. Highly recommended!

Great lunch menu. Reasonable price for lunch. They accommodated 12 ladies after our church gathering. They allowed us to have separate bills, I know it is more work but they were kind about it. They did not know but over half of the group were widowed. They did not add the tip on themselves as done in larger groups sometimes. We hope we did a great job thanking them with the tip. I had the mini chimichangas and they were great and big portions. A friend had the fajitas, the sizzled and smelled so good. Great place.

The service wasn’t that good, until the gentleman began to help us, and the food could have had a little better flavored. Haven’t been here in 2 years. Use to eat lunch and dinner here a lot on the weekends. Maybe next time it will be better.

We were pleasantly surprised by La Casita! A 10-15 minute wait for a table allowed for a drink at the bar. We were soon guided to our table. Our food came quickly and it was so tasty. The service was friendly. We will come back.

Went the this place for the first time for dinner with family! As we walked in we were seated right away! A few minutes later our waiter came over and took our drink order! And shortly after receiving our drinks our food order was taken and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out hot and fresh! The ambience is very mellow and casual and family friendly! The carne asada plate I got was awesome it was carne asada with rice and beans with tortillas! I would definitely recommend this place for a good bite to eat if your by yourself or with family and friends!!!
