Food is really great, but the staff is made up of almost completely teens, and the service sufferes greatly I believe because of this. There are tons of staff just standing around, and we just kept having to ask for water, the food orders were wrong, and the bill was all kinds of messed up! I hope they can figure out the service issues because the food, once it’s right, is great.

Excited to have them right down the street! Good service with all smiles, and burgers are awesome, fries and onion rings are really good, not greasy, and perfectly cooked! It may be my new favorite burger joint.

Great bit of nostalgia here. I was not around in 1955. But, if you were, this is a great throw back to a bygone era.
Burgers, fries, hot dogs, hoagies, shakes and ice cream, cheesesteaks. Even shrimp and some pot roast. Great place for American comfort food.
I LOVE the chicken cheesesteak called “the moose” (pic shown). It is a pile of grilled chicken with bacon and ranch dressing. I mean, who doesn’t love chicken, bacon and ranch? The fries could be better. But, hey. The cheesesteak makes up for it.
Good for simple comfort food. Worth a visit if you have not been.

You know the shake is good when it doesn’t drop off the spoon! Clean floors and tables. They got my burger order wrong but it wasn’t a big deal. It still tasted great. Fries and shakes are great.

The servers are young and lack experience, though they were friendly. We found ourselves waiting nearly 10 minutes before we were given menus.
The shrimp on my shrimp burger were surprisingly well cooked and moist. The burger itself was pretty decent. If I visited here again, I would likely order it again.
The fries though were pretty big disappointment, the experience would have been much better with improved fries.
My associate reported the cheesesteak as being a good sandwich and said the milkshake was a good one.
In conclusion, it is not up to par with the other burger and fries options in the area. We are unlikely to visit again.

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The burgers and cheese steaks are great! I like the tots but fries are never salted. Staff is always very friendly. Retro decor and music is pretty cool. We have always enjoyed it and will be back.

This was our first time here even though we’ve driven past it many times. The restaurant was at about 2/3 capacity, so we got a table very quickly. The food took a long time, but there was only one person on the grill and two servers. The food was tasty, but the interior was a little run down. The atmosphere seemed very subdued. Maybe it was the lack of music? I don’t think we’ll return here as there are many other restaurants around with similar food offerings. Our sever, Gracie, did provide us with excellent service.

My wife and I had an enjoyable experience here. The service was prompt and the food came out quick. We went on a Tuesday at 7 and it was slow inside. The Carolina burger and jalapeno cheese steak were both delicious. We’ll be returning again.

Came in about 9 on a Friday night. The place looked like it had just had a surge and the staff didn’t yet have a chance to clean up. The Burgers are tasty enough, but a little skimpy in size considering the price and competition all up and down WHB. The buns were soft and fluffy, but fell apart. The fries, however, were awesome… If only they were served with the burgers instead of half way through the deliberately slow ate meal!!! The flavored Frozen Custard shakes were definitely a highlight. Overall service was friendly but lacking in performance.

Awesome staff. They got hit with a rush with only 2 cooks and 2 waitresses. Almost entire restaurant was full. They managed to stay calm under the pressure, food was amazing and the manager Robert was particularly great at interacting with customers before he had to cook. Great environment, better food! Will come again!
