I love the The Cove! I live about an hr away and come to visit my family out here in Gloucester a few times a year. I always try and stop in during my short visits. Don’t always make it, but I always think about it! Love their dirty (that’s when you add a shot of espresso) or regular iced chai. Not overly sweet, and very warming spice forward. You can tell they use a high-quality tea, and not just a syrup based liquid or just cover it in sugar to compensate. Fresh made baked goods every day. That being said, I would not recommend planning to stay to eat with a large group. There is very limited seating. A counter along one of the front windows, and maybe the other or just a small table. I don’t recall the other side. I think with 1 other person, maybe 2, you would be okay, but I wouldn’t push it. I also don’t think if you have a rowdy or young kid this would be a sit down place for you, as it is quite small. Street parking only, I’ve never had a problem parking, but it is kind of a narrower street, and we don’t have a large car.

Lovely, quiet, and clean. This Cafe was a quick stop in while on the coast, and a real treat. The town is lovely too boot. The sandwich was made fresh, and was delicious. I regret not getting a sweater, they looked so cozy. I’m actually about to see if it’s available on a website. Also their baked goods looks phenomenal. Will be back!

Wonderful place , i had a vegetarian burger and ice chai latte ,what an amazing experience, the food was delicious and definitely worth it , the service was great and the ladies at the front was very friendly and nice. A good place to check out , highly recommended.

Great little lunch spot, either for a quiet lunch solo or to grab a bunch of sandwiches before heading out on the boat. Really an asset to the community, there are so few places on this side of the cape that Cove Cafe fills a desperate need and does so in a high quality way. I have never been disappointed with my order and the staff is lovely.

I ordered here for lunch on the recommendation of a few of our clients who work nearby. Online ordering was quick, easy and I liked that it was customizable. The storefront itself is quaint and super cute inside. I was warmly greeted and our food was ready when I arrived. The turkey/apple/cheddar sandwich still visits me in my dreams. 10/10 would recommend!

Great little coffee shop with delicious grab-n-go lunches that are actually healthy! Great pit stop on my commute in and out of Rockport and I finally had the chance to stop in and try their grilled chicken wrap and a delicious cappuccino with oat milk. The service is very friendly. No restrooms. There is some small seating area if you’re looking to sip your beverage or enjoy your snack inside.

I went to the Cove Cafè this morning and it was incredible! The food and the coffee were delicious. I got a veggie breakfast wrap with a banana hazelnut iced coffee. I also tried the pecan bar, and everything was amazing! Everyone working there was so friendly and the service was great. It’s also in an awesome location. You can grab food and coffee and walk down to the cove to sit by the water while you enjoy your meal. Overall, awesome experience!

I HIGHLY recommend making the Cove Cafe a regular stop for yourself!! This place has it all! Amazing food, fresh/delicious coffee and beverages and extremely friendly staff! My favorite sandwich is “The Rachie” or the “Chicken Salad” which has cranberries and walnuts in it!!! So good! My honest opinion however is that no matter what you choose, you won’t be disappointed! Fresh ingredients, home made baked goods, and an atmosphere that is so welcoming! Whether you are a local or just passing through, the Cove is a must try!

Amazingly steady stream of patrons to this quaint coffee sandwich shop. This was only my second time in a I tried the breakfast burrito and let the staff make it the way they have it and it was great. Currently waiting for the shop to reopen after a winter closer to try more of their offerings. Also tried one of the gluten free bars made in house which you can’t tell it is gluten free. Awesome.

Their Brownie and caramel pecan bar were amazing!! Stopped to find out where to get a good lobster roll. They found out what was open and sent me to the Causeway restaurant which was great too.
