Brothers Roberto and Ernesto Leon first opened Condesa Restaurante Mexicano and Tequila Bar in 2015 with the help of their mother and late father. Since opening their first Restaurant in 2015 they have expanded to open Condesa in West Warwick and Watertown, MA. With the support of their family and great supporting cast from Condesa they will now venture out to open Santo Taco Taqueria and Cantina bringing more of a Mexican street food feel to it. You will be able to find Mexican classics like pastor, barbacoa, and tamales while enjoying a good tequila.

Condesa Mexican Restaurant in Watertown is hands down one of the best Mexican spots I’ve been to in the area. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about quality — everything tasted authentic and well-seasoned, not just your typical generic Mexican food.
The drinks were also on point, and the atmosphere was warm, clean, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can go for a casual dinner or a nice night out.
I especially want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jose Herrera. He was outstanding — attentive without being overbearing, friendly, professional, and made sure everything came out perfectly. He checked in at the right times and made great recommendations. Service like that really makes the whole experience better.
Definitely coming back. Highly recommend asking for Jose when you go!

We had such a great time at Condesa in Watertown. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and the food was seriously delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The tacos and margaritas were definite highlights.
Jose Herrera was our server and he was great — really laid-back, easy to talk to, and made everything feel relaxed and smooth. Service was on point without feeling over the top.

I got the Agava Margarita which was lovely. It has a nice salt rim. I got absolutely dynamite Cholo Enchiladas with a rich mole sauce and tangy salsa verde. Also got a flavorful and lime flavored guacamole and a molten hot queso fresco with caramelized onions. Delicious all. The restaurant has a free parking garage nearby and the location is spacious and beautifully adorned with murals and artwork

Me and my date both got gastroenteritis after having dinner here last night. I hope the restaurant takes food safety and cleanliness seriously. Other than that, the fried fish tacos tasted really good and the portions were great. Our server was fine too and the place had nice Christmas decorations. I don’t recommend the queso fundando. It’s pretty mediocre for a $16 appetizer. Willing to give this place a second try in the future but not entirely eager to after my most recent experience

This place is amazing, not just the food but the atmosphere and service as well. The service is outstanding. Our waiter Gabriella did a great job and engaged in good conversation as the whole staff always does. The vibe of the restaurant is really nice and food is always good. I wish they never took the calamari off the menu because it was so good.

Churros topped with blueberry ice cream is absolutely delicious, and the ice cream quality is rich. The price per menu item is relatively high, and so are other restaurants within the Arsenal yards space.
Nonetheless, we will definitely visit again.

I enjoyed their Pastor tacos with rice and beans, modified for no cheese for my dairy allergy. The staff was fairly confident about their menu, and they had no issue accommodating my food allergy. We also had some chips and salsa for the table.

Incredible meal. Everything we ordered was scrumptious from the complimentary chips and salsa to our meals. I ordered the chimichanga and my wife had the molé poblano. The flan is *chefs kiss* we devoured it before I thought to get a photo of it. Haha! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant
