I was so excited to see they have half gallon flavored teas that I could bring back to work with me. Unfortunately, the nozzles hasn’t been cleaned in a while. There was matter floating in it which i wound up ingesting… I thought it was strawberries then recalled that I’d ordered raspberry. My half gallon was spoiled. It was so bad, in fact, that soon, it’s odor permeated the classroom and remained in my cup. They did apologize and refund which I appreciate.

I enjoy a lot of their food, and the service is always great, however, the fried chicken always tastes a little burnt, like it has been left in the fryer just a tad too long. It’s still fairly edible but I’m not a fan. I’ll still keep going for everything else on the menu !

Went here and it was hilarious. A man was yelling at the cashier who clearly owns the place and isn’t from Louisiana or America. Talking about how exactly he likes his food from people who bought the recipes. Hahahaaaaa they are good at what they do and they make the recipes exact. Be nice and enjoy them for keeping the business alive in the area.

Food is great if you like it spicy as hell! Even the Mac n cheese was loaded with it and made it unedible to me. Wish they’ve have said something because I surely didn’t expect this level of mouth burning. I guess it’s not their fault but dang, it’s almost completely inedible. I give 3 star simply because of that. Other than the spice, it tasted decent. Sad I couldn’t eat my 20$ meal tho.

After searching online for the best fried chicken in Lake Charles, Louisiana, this spot came up in the top four—and it did not disappoint. It truly stands out as one of the best in town. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, golden, juicy, and full of flavor. The fried okra and egg rolls were also outstanding, both fresh and delicious.
The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to ensuring a great customer experience. In our opinion, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving quality fried chicken and tasty sides—definitely a step above the location on Prien.

I was not a big fan of the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice had very little flavor in my opinion and it tasted like they fry the rice right after they cook it, even though you’re supposed to let it sit in the fridge overnight first, then cook it. They didn’t even try.
It had no seasoning, and barely any color to it, so I won’t be getting that again.
HOWEVER, their chicken is amazing! Fried to perfection, juicy, and not too salty at all! They could afford to put more spice, though. The chicken will be the only thing I get from now on.

5 STARS DOES THEM NO JUSTICE!! Have gone through the drive thru 3 times now and each time has been a consistently mind blowing experience! 1 the chicken is cooked and season to perfection, and you can’t get this amount of food for a better price. Have a variety of options of sides, and the shrimp fried rice is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted!Also have several desserts and slushiest to choose from. 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend!
