It was a first time my wife and I visited the Golden Corral buffet and grill today. So both of us are rating this place as a “five star plus”. Very convenient location, a lot of parking spaces, it was a very busy time, but all the staff were polite and helpful. Very nice and clean restaurant, great service and now we came to the point of food itself. Everything we choose was absolutely great and very tasty. We live about 60 miles away, but now we have a place we just love, and we are going to keep coming back. Thank guys for very enjoyable experience!

I was in Joplin for an event, and wanted to grab a quick dinner before heading home. It was a Saturday night and Valentine’s Day on top of this so it was super busy. I was not aware until after I paid that I was charged for a “holiday” buffet until after we paid. There was no type of “holiday” dinner on the buffet, just the typical dinner as we all know. If I had known I would have gotten fast food or went to a seafood buffet. It’s getting so disappointing in this industry anymore. It is probably always this busy Valentine’s Day or not, and to me this isn’t a holiday that one would expect an upcharge unless you knew prior to visiting. ♀️

Well I went out to eat the other day by myself It was very nice The food was good it was pretty The help was really nice I did not leave her a tip I have to go back and leave one.
All I had was a salad bar and I swear it was $17 I didn’t even finish my meal But the place with packed This little oriental lady works in the front section just got aggressive because I wanted to sit someone and she said some other sit in there but obviously had left their tip on the table and it was empty I don’t think she just wanted me to sit there So she was very rude I don’t know if she would she might have been Hispanic or something but ever I was watching her but everybody loved her and she was relaxed everybody but she was just I think she wanted more than one person to sit there so be aware of cocky waitresses and waiters but I like the place but it’s awful expensive but what is it nowadays you know But one thing was really good so try and don’t forget to double tip your waitress.

Golden Corral now has you now get your own drinks and refills. Which is not the staffings fault for the corporate decisions.
It is just disappointing because the prices have gone up and the ability to have somewhat of a wait staff has went down.
No problems with the food it was what one would expect when you go to Golden corral.

I dont ever eat out. I prefer home cooked. However, for veterans day I went to golden coral for the free meal (I’m a veteran), and the food was so surprisingly good. Several dishes were second plate worthy. Good food!!

We were a small group of 9 seniors for a family reunion. The staff set up tables for us in the private dining room where it was quiet, and we could be as noisy as we wanted. We stayed about 2 hours. The food was great, the service was terrific! (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to Susan our server!)
Reasonable prices, plenty of parking, and helpful and courteous staff!

They raised the prices significantly since the last time we went. They cut the quality of the food, they even substituted the napkins for some tiny cheap paper thing. The worst part is we went here for my wifes birthday and she barely made it home before getting sick. Me and our son had upset stomachs but didn’t actually vomit like she did

I went earlier today for lunch with my dad. The options are very limited. When I had my first 2 plates the good was just cold and nasty. I won’t go back again or ever again. The food quality is really going down hill.

Went to breakfast at this Joplin location. We were all very dissappointed, most of the food choices were not good, being aged and not fresh or bad tasting from very low quality. The wait staff however was nice and attentive. Drink glasses and utencils look worn and not very clean. Bathrooms stink. Salad bar needed to be restocked and some foods on it literally turning brown. Sadly the quality of golden buffet restaurants seem to be going down at many locations.

My wife and I have been going here for over 10 years. The service is usually very good. As a matter of fact we have had this server in the past. Today she took the tray while we were getting our food. About 15 minutes or more had past and she walked by the table and said if we needed anything to let her know as she kept walking. My wife didn’t even get a chance to tell her that she wanted some coffee. As we were getting ready to leave about 15 minutes later she came by and finally stopped and ask if we wanted any coffee.
