The best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in NJ. I went for lunch and was blown away by the food. The ceviche was super fresh with clean flavors. Also got the short rib tacos made with in house tortillas cooked in the pizza oven. The food was 5 star. This place is going to mobbed with people when the word gets out. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Went with a group of 5 which means FOOD. Can we start with apps? Pulpo was tender, Guacamole fresh with crispy tortillas, ceviche was fresh and on point, tacos dorado was my favorite, Ensalada de Nopales was everything.
First place I found with such a salad in this area that I enjoyed. You can taste the freshness in all of this.
Entrees were a hit.
I had the red snapper and it was perfection.
The short rib was tender and flavorful.
The porkchop was tender and juicy for a med well. Came with rice and beans on the side (beans were fire btw).
Dessert we tried them all. Cappuccino and coffee’s a must, they warmed the milk too, felt so special ❤️
Gotta get the Horchata – amazing cups – good on its own but we added fireball and captain spiced rum as a kick.
Also try the Jamaica (my favorite) – we added Patron.
By itself both Aguas were worth the hype
All in all would be back again and trying the rest of the menu ❤️❤️.

I tried the skirt steak here which was pretty good. For what you’re paying which I believe was $29 there was no chips or salsa which was the first for me for a Mexican restaurant. The service was good no complaints. Menu A bit on the pricey side. Attached is my meal which was $32 with tax and $40 with tip. the wine was BYOB.

We had a wonderful dinner at Amuzgo. The food was excellent, but the service was absolutely impeccable. There was an error with one of our dishes and Samuel went above and beyond to correct and apologized. It’s BYOB and we will definitely be back.

Visited a week ago and we ate DOWN to say the least. I never leave reviews but I hope out of everything that’s served this location Amuzgo is here to stay! This place was delightful on a sunny afternoon with really kind and attentive service. Will certainly visit another day, hopefully in the evening.

We had the Jamaica fresca (must get) , tacos de pescado, tacos dorados, pollo torta, and not pictured was the chips and guacamole with pickled red onions

I recently dined at this incredible Mexican restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food is authentic and bursting with flavors, truly capturing the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine. Every dish we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with the perfect balance of spices and ingredients.

The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The staff was knowledgeable and provided great recommendations, adding to the overall dining experience.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a relaxed evening with friends. The warm decor and inviting ambiance create a setting that feels both comfortable and special. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Mexican dining experience!

Had the pleasure of being served by Byron, he was attentive. They serve you fresh chips w two sauces and I Had the steak tacos as my meal. It was delicious!!
Had the opportunity to try the raspberry tres leches, the cake was a bit tart but the frosting on top paired well with it.
Thank you!

My first visit. Lucy was incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. We enjoyed the sea bass and steak. The food was delicious. Be sure to save room for desserts. I meant to take picture but ate it too fast.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim. We aren’t typically in the area so happened to stumble upon this place. Super cute and clean inside. Food was delicious! Guac was light and classic, with crispy fresh chips. We had the barbacoa and the striped bass tacos – very very good! You can tell they use premium quality ingredients. We will be back any time we’re in the neighborhood!
