Its a nice cafe, good food and cozy atmosphere, and I love the farm too. The only reason that I bumped this review down to 4 stars is because of a few things. First, it lacks diverse bakery options. Looking around, I just feel like im seeing the same pastries over and over again, I mean, I guess that they all have different fillings, but its still the same thing. Second, the music is too loud. I mean, Im not against music or anything, but its way too loud and its hard to concentrate a meeting or even have a conversation with someone without hearing a bunch of jazz in the background. Next, I know that there have been a lot of complaints about the no laptop rule, and I agree that its very silly considering that its a cafe/bakery/coffee shop. I dont see any reason why computers are not allowed. Lastly, the staff on the market side was a bit insistent. He kept saying that all the food was very good and freshy baked in the morning when we just wanted to look around.

Delicious! I highly recommend bringing a bottle of their garlic olive oil instead of wine to your next dinner party. Beautiful space. Lovely staff. Great menu! Baked goods are packed with unexpected deliciousness. Highly recommend.

the Korean fried chicken sandwich had a good sauce, but the chicken itself was quite dry. as a whole I’d say it was pretty good, but because the food was fairly pricey, to me it wasn’t necessarily worth the price. I’ll also add on — there’s a lot to like about the place, with big windows and two levels, and it’s all quite clean, I still felt there’s a pretty sterile vibe in the decor. farmer’s market meets panera.
The no laptop rule for a coffee place is also kind of silly. there’s plenty of room, and I’m not sure why there couldn’t be a section for laptop use, or for a set period (1 hr, etc). it’s their own business, I understand, but I personally won’t be driving out to Scio and purchasing a latte to not be able to use the table while I drink it.

Realizing White Lotus Farms now has a storefront My first visit did not disappoint. The atmosphere is really open concept, clean with lots of natural light. The same quality food items and friendly service you experience at the farm. I purchased several goat and sheep cheeses to sample over the holidays and a hot drink with a fresh baked almond croissant to brighten my kiddos day; it did! They have oat milk as a dairy alternative. No gluten sensitive options yet that I saw but I could’ve missed it. Everything we had was delicious and we will definitely be back.

This is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. The prices are a little high so know that going in. They have some games for kids, which is really nice and the space is very welcoming right and clean. I got the sesame salad and it was really good.

The fiid is excellent. They make their own sourdough bread right there on the premises, and you can see the baking area where there are rows of sourdough proofing. All their baked good are delicious. They have great salads, sandwiches, soups, and excellent coffees both hot and cold brews. The dining area has a lofty upstairs where there are large windows. The varieties of very interesting jams and other delights are a little pricey but the various flavors are like nothing you could find in a regular market. They also have fresh bouquets of flowers. Almost all they have to offer is locally sourced, and there are a lot of organic options. The people who work there are very pleasant and helpful.

FYI: No laptops allowed. This isn’t clearly signed except for tiny writing on the window. Adding signs on the register or the walls would be helpful. This is a super cute space with lots of seating. And I’m glad to have access to WL’s amazing pastries on weekdays. The attached market is also super cute! I had hoped to make this a new hangout, but the complete laptop ban will probably keep me away. Completely understand the policy and the thinking behind it but just not my vibe.
