It tripped me out because I headed towards the bathroom to wash my hands and my food was ready and I said I would be back for it and when I came out to get it she had it in the area to keep it warm. I’ve experienced other places would just leave it out on the counter. Very nice friendly atmosphere and wasn’t much of a wait either.

Carl’s used to have a lot of locations, but one of the few left is here in Alameda. Carl’s is one of the last choices of other go to that’s within the island of Alameda for a hamburger joint (McDonald’s, In&Out, Five Guys that I can name on top of the head). They didn’t get left behind with the prices of their sandwiches, yikes, but I guess it is quality value and lately a PLus that they have menu of Tacos and Mexican food in menu that can be ordered in the store.

Hello friend. I came here the other day because I was feeling nostalgic for the big star and growing up remembering Paris Hilton and that in that one commercial. (How was that acceptable for public audiences?)
Anyway I ordered the Famous Star, you know what they’re known for. I had some fries and that new Churro shake or whatever. I waited in the drive through for a bit until a human, (not ai, Burger King in Hayward) answered.
I pull up to the window and wait. And wait. And wait. About 5-10 minutes the window opens and I pay. Food is given warm and drinks cold. I drive to a secluded parking spot to hide the shame of eating expensive fast food.
Let me start by saying their medium drink is freaking huge. The only options were “medium or large” what the hell was a large if this was a medium? Good think I ordered non sweet tea.
I opened my burger which felt nice and, as the younger generation calls it, “thick.” It was very saucy and I bite into it. The burger was delicious. 8/10 I’d eat it again. Not too salty but very saucy and the bread felt and tasted like real bread.
Now the biggest disappointment. The fries. I am a big carb man and I usually devour all the fries. McDonald’s, gone. In N out, gone. BK, gone. This… What the heck was this?
The fries tasted like off brand Walmart frozen fries cooked in an oven of hopelessness after being left out to be stale and placed back on the baking sheet of rejection.
For the first time I did not finish my fries which gave me hope of succeeding in weight loss goals that went away after I washed it down with that deliciously dangerous Churro shake. 10/10 I’d get again.
So that’s it. It killed the craving for another couple of years.

The crew were awesome and great, much better than the previous employees. This was at 1pm on a monday, food was great well.

I ordered and paid for my meal in the drive thru. Which was the #10 chicken sandwich combo, with no pickles. I paid at 1:20 pm. I was told to pull around, they were making the chicken still. No problem, but as I’m sitting, I noticed all 4 vehicles that were behind me leave. Also, 2 different customers walked in and ordered and left. Now 23 minutes later, my food comes… what’s that about! Irritated at this point, neither my barbecue sauce, or my honey mustard was in the bag. I go inside to get it. I’m in traffic driving home eating my fries. I finally get home, open up my chicken sandwich and it was burned (picture posted). It looked like they cooked it the whole time that I was waiting! They didn’t have the decency to offer a refund or even make a new sandwich. Never going back to this location ever!

Hi went last night around 10pm wanted a soda 5.43 mind you —large diet Dr Pepper, , drove out of drive thru sipped it was mostly carbonated water , got back in line kind lady exchanged it for Diet Coke , same result … where is the syrup mix ..it was awful just drive away , the lady that helped me was wonderful , the product not so much, writing this because 5.43 for large should I imagine would taste like something other than carbonated fizzy stuff, was really disappointed , please speak to your vendor

Great place to grab a yummy, fast-food, charbroiled, gourmet burger with bacon, teriyaki, avocado, etc along with their breakfast burger which looks like a scrambled egg, burger, bacon and hashbrowns, chicken, fish sandwiches, etc .
The food at this location is consistently really good majority of the time hot and fresh. This restaurant is really clean. They even brought our food over to us…first time I’ve had that at a fast food restaurant …overall get service.
