Cheese Fritters! A must have. Delicious, I also ordered the fried chicken on waffle biscuits. It’s the perfect salty-sweet combo. Add their honey sauce for more sweetness. It was so much food I have lunch for tomorrow. And DESSERT! You’ve got to try their desserts. My favorite is piggy pudding, but all are very good.

Best Bbq we’ve had in a while. Definitely best north of Nashville. The atmosphere is homey and comforting. The prices were fair and the food was amazing. The staff was super nice and accommodating as well. This is our new favorite restaurant in White House.

First time here even though I have driven past it for years. Went in the drive thru in the pouring rain today and got the 1lb BBQ family plate. Got the vinegar “sauce” (which is actually just apple cider vinegar not a sauce) and the hot sauce (warning: it’s HOT hot!…. Should have got a mild, too!) the coleslaw is mayo based only, no vinegar based ones. The “piggy pudding” dessert is something I had never heard of and now is my favorite.

The 1 lb family BBQ plate is a good deal, the large side is VERY big that comes with it and an 8pack of buns you can’t beat. I might be on my way back for a half rack of ribs, too

The sweet little girl and the drive thru with the really high voice was very friendly and helpful!

And they now have the biggest thickest pork chops that I have ever seen!!

We were in the mood for some good barbecue and decided to give this place a shot, we were very disappointed. The potato salad almost made my fiancé vomit. The macaroni on their website looks like baked macaroni but in reality it is watery noodles. We did not expect the brisket to be shredded & it was pretty dry. Overall we will not be returning, it’s not worth $45 for sure & we did not even finish our food.

We visited at 7:00pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The atmosphere was homey, and our server was polite and attentive. We ordered the fried pickles, giant stuffed potato, the chicken and waffle biscuit, and the two meet combo. The potato was perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. The fried chicken tenders on waffle batter biscuits were served hot and tasty. It is served with a spicy honey which I requested on the side. It had a well balanced flavor as the spice did not over power the honey flavor. The two combo (pork and brisket) was a little bit of a disappointment as the meat wasn’t flavorful or fresh. (We noticed no smoker smell on the property. Not sure how the meat was cooked. ) The home fries and fried okra sides ordered were not special. The okra was very greasy. The house sauces were vinegar based and we recommend the spicy.

The brisket was pulled which isn’t something I’ve ever had before – expected it to be sliced, but the flavor was good for sure. The pulled pork was delicious as well.
They also have corn nuggets which are simply amazing. I thought the mac and cheese was a bit soupy and lacking flavor, but not terrible.

They used to have the best grilled ckn sandwich in town. 2 nice sized tenders on a crust roll. Now it’s one tender on the roll and it just looks sad. Even worse it’s still $13-$15 for one little ckn tender. That’s more expensive than Canes. Zaxbys, Chick fil a. What in the world? Then yesterday we get the hot ham and cheese sandwich. It was completely different weird parm cheese tough meat. Nothing mentioned in the menu about any changes. We were thrilled to find this hidden gem. Oh well.

A cute local place with a simple BBQ menu and good Arnold Palmers. The food was good. The service was attentive and friendly. They allowed my service animal in the main room.

In all the years we’ve been coming here, we just experienced the worst customer service. We always order dry ribs, no sauce. The sweet teenager taking our order, gave us the total. Then called the order out to the kitchen, she comes back to the window with an older white/gray haired woman (60+). The older lady very aggressively says, you want no sauce on the ribs, it’s going to be nasty, the product just isn’t the same with no sauce. Continues to be agitated saying, we can do light sauce. We’ve had customers complain how nasty the ribs are dry, we just can’t do it. If it’s the sweetness from the sugars, because you can’t have sugar, then you just shouldn’t be eating it anyways (assuming we were diabetics). Then asks if he wanted sauce on the side, husband yes. She looks at the young lady and says give him one sauce. Mind you we order them this way every time, and the original order taker, never had a problem with how we ordered the ribs. We just ordered dry ribs last Friday, with no issues. I do have a question for the establishment, is this woman the owner?
