We absolutely love going to Hooked.
We go every Friday for the Cape Coral Talk Show with Ed and Kim.
We have been served by just about every Server they have, as we been going, just about every week since the Show has started here.
Food is great !
I do wish there was a few more selections as I’m pretty picky, and like I said we go EVERY week.
Every Hostess we have interacted with have been so kind and friendly, food is good, Servers are amazing.
Thank you for making our Friday, Date Nights great every week.

This was our first visit since the location opened. We are so happy to see this space so wonderfully updated.
The food was very good. Enjoyed the gumbo, the tropical pineapple and egg rolls.
The service was excellent. Love the atmosphere very relaxed and there was live music.

Blake our waiter was very attentive. Food came out quick. Food is fresh and season well. There was a singer performer and the resturant vibe is very elegant and inviting. Food choices are plenty. For this reason I gave it a 5 star. I haven’t given anyone a 5 star so congrats. Keep up everything you do. I highly suggest trying this gem. I will keep comming back to try out all the dishes.

We went twice within the span of a week because the food was that good. We had the salmon, a shrimp po boy, the crunchie grouper wrap & fish tacos. All were super delicious and generous portions. The service was good even on a very busy night. On our 2nd visit we had the gumbo, triple tail and unicorn fish. Wow, all were super delicious. I don’t live there so it may be a while before I can go back but definitely on my list of one of the best places I’ve been. Prices are incredibly reasonable. There was live music both nights. It was a bit loud on a very busy Friday night but it would not deter me from going – the food is worth it.

Really disappointed with the value for the money here. The portions absolutely did not justify the prices. A pineapple bowl with just one sliced grilled chicken breast on top was $26. A tiny side of coleslaw (maybe 1.5 tablespoons) was $4. The garlic green beans tasted like plain microwave-steamed beans with no real garlic flavor, and the grouper sandwich had a very thin piece of fish. Overall, the food was average at best — nothing special.

On top of that, the menu listed happy hour until 6pm, but our waiter told us it ended at 5 with no explanation. When we pointed out the menu, he said they “need to be reprinted” because it changed months ago. My mom tried to order the walleye sandwich and was simply told “we’ve got grouper,” again seemingly due to an outdated menu. If you’re going to keep old menus in circulation, items and times need to be clearly updated or crossed out. Overall disappointing, as we were excited to try.

We went for our first time last night. We sat on the patio, and happy hour was still going on. We had crab cakes, sliders, a salmon salad and grouper that was served with the shrimp. All the food was totally awesome. And we had a great waiter. We’ll definitely be going back.

Hooked on Hooked! Great open seating restaurant serving up delicious one of a kind dishes. How many places serve walleye? Wow! Loved the tripletail! Our server Chip was on the ball, quick and funny too! Great prices, lighting, cool bar and outside seating. Come get your fresh fish and seafood!

Definitely the best restaurant that’s been in this location in recent history. The drinks were phenomenal, everyone loved the thin fries and the Au Gratin potatoes were fantastic.

The reason this review is four stars instead of five is because since we had a larger party they sat us in the very back of the very farthest room and it seemed like our waitress kept forgetting she had to come back there to check on us. Or maybe because we were a large party and the gratuity was automatically added on, she just didn’t worry about it, But either way she was not very attentive. We were there celebrating and would have ordered several more rounds of the delicious drinks if we’d have been given the opportunity.

That and a few people weren’t completely in love with the food. It seemed a little hit or miss depending on what people got. But overall they did wonderfully for having just opened. It is far more enjoyable now as Hooked than it ever was as anything else before.

I have eaten here plenty of times and I don’t want to discourage anyone from enjoying a meal here. The food has always been good and the ambiance is great between the live music and outdoor seating. This is more a message to management. Last night I had the crab legs with “butter”. The legs looked like they came from midget crabs but were fine. The “butter” was all chemicals – and tasted like soybean oil with butter flavoring. I am paying for it this morning. We need our restaurants to stop feeding us chemicals. I know what kind of food you can put out and this was not your best.
