Very sad change. I have loved Jasa Kabob for quite a few years, since moving out of the area I only get to stop in every six months or so. I stopped in tonight, worried when I see “Under new management” on the sign inside. I still give it a go and order chicken tikka masala with potatoes and rice pudding. Get home the chicken tikka looks great but mainly tastes like chicken without the taste beyond just chicken. The potatoes were nice, a bit spicier than before. Finally I get to the rice pudding which was always quite a treat with crushed pistachios on top. Instead it just looked more like a soup made of paste. It looked like something I didn’t want to risk trying so I didn’t. Another great restaurant has left us.

I recently visited this amazing place with my friends. We had Shahi paneer, Chana masala, aloo naan and garlic naan with rice. All the dishes were top notch and the taste is for die for. This place serves authentic Indian food with lots of warmth. We were served by Kashmir Singh, Raman and Gurpinder.

I’ve been going to Jasa since it opened years ago. Food has dropped off tremendously. Ordered Chicken Berioni. The Berioni used to come with half a Tomato, Whole Pepper and plenty of chicken properly spiced. Now a piece of tomato, a piece of pepper and very bland. The white sauce was like water with very little vegetables in it and 1/4 of a 1/2 cup which used to come full. The service was horrible. Saying where were we at they said food would be ready in 20 min but it took us 26 min to get there. This place was one of the best food carry out anywhere in country and now it’s one of the worst. I wouldn’t not recommend ever going there.

Loyal 10 year customer. I moved out of the city and would drive into the city to get the chicken tikki and veggies. The sauce and everything about it is completely different and not on the same level of deliciousness as before. So sad! Bring back the old flavors!

Ordered the chicken biryani spicy. It was delicious. Even my picky dad ate my leftovers. Portion was perfect to share. Recommend and will be back

I enjoy their flavor of food. In the past Ive tried the lamb kabob and chicken kabobs and found the lamb meat to be tough and the chicken was dry. I ordered it twice and both times were about the same. So, I tried the lamb seekh kabob and absolutely fell in love with the flavors. These are my go to items to order. I get the sides of chana masala or the lentils or the spinach with potatoes which is quite good yet very spicy. Platters are also served with fresh made in house naan bread. Yummy.

⚠️⚠️EDIT⚠️
Did you guys change the chicken tikka masala recipe in the past year or so?
The sauce is not as bold & out of this world crazy good as it used to be. I really need that original chicken tikka masala sauce back in my life PLEASE! Let me know what’s going on and when I should come back to order.
Original Review:. Super fast, friendly, and consistent.

Stopped by for an early lunch on a weekday. We ordered #14 Chicken Tikka Masala plate with naan, rice and beans. Generous portions, delicious food, friendly service… No wonder they’re a local favorite!

The service was fast and easy.
I should qualify my 3 stars first by saying that I am giving some grace because this was a Sunday, and likely not typical because the lower volume of business.
There was one person working (presumably the owner judging from some of the pictures), but he must have been in the office or in the back. After waiting a few minutes I just yelled “hello”. Didn’t have a mask on initially, but put it on when I placed my order.
You can see the prepared foods through the plexiglas at the counter. A lot of the dishes didn’t look very freshly prepared (oxidation and signs of solidification).
My order came fast (Falafel Platter).
The sides were awesome, fresh and flavorful (red cabbage, ganouj, and tabouli). The falafel was dense, dry and seemed a bit stale. The tahini was slightly soupy. With the exception of the falafel, everything tasted great.
I plan to return here on a different day to see if it’s better when it’s busier. The reviews suggest that’s the case and why I initially tried this place.
Will update review after my next visit.
