I’ve been looking for a great authentic mediterranean food spot in north Austin, and I think I’ve finally found it! Came to Lakeline mall for some shopping and decided to stop by at Rumaan. Ali was my waiter, really great guy, explained to me the whole menu and gave great recommendations. The hummus was amazing, nice, creamy, and light. The falafel wrap was also amazing. They used a really thin tortilla wrap so the flavors of the falafel and sauces taste more pronounced. Great spot for a date night!

Okay, listen-this place is ridiculously good. Like, “I forgot I was in a mall” kind of good. I’ve eaten Mediterranean food in a lot of spots, but this might just be top-tier, “I’d fight someone for the last falafel” level delicious.
So there I was, wandering the mall like a lost soul, stomach growling loud enough to scare small children. I couldn’t decide what I wanted-then I saw this place glowing like an oasis in the desert of pretzel stands and smoothie shops. I figured, why not? and wow… best decision I made all day (and yes, that includes buying jeans that were not on sale).
At first, the service was a little slow-two guys were deep in conversation, probably solving world peace or discussing hummus ratios-but once they came over, they were awesome.
Pretty sure the owner even came out to check on us, which made me feel like royalty with a side of tzatziki.
Long story short: food = incredible,
service = redeemed, stomach = happy.
This spot is now officially one of my go-tos.

This place is delicious and very convenient if you’re already in the mall. The food was very fast and good service. I especially like that it tells me if it’s gluten free on the menu. I will be returning!

Great vibes and great food, the hummus was delicious, the mint tea was refreshing, the shawarma wraps were good (although I would say the beef seasoning wasn’t the best but it was still great and enjoyable), and above all the service was top notch. Having fayrouz songs playing in the background was the cherry on top, will be back. Probably the best food option if you want to eat while visiting the mall.

I tried the Shish Tavuk at Rumaan Restaurant and was really impressed. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled with a nice smoky taste. It came with rice, grilled veggies, and fresh pita a satisfying and well-balanced meal.
The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re craving quality Mediterranean food!

Don’t let the fact this place is attached to the shopping mall prevent you from trying it out. The food and service here was absolutely fantastic! Well plated, good portion sizes, and all the amazing flavors you would expect. All the food came out hot and fresh. Even the drinks were top quality! Whether you want a large or small meal, or even vegetarian, they’re happy to oblige. We will definitely be back whenever we’re on this side of town.
Parking was easy to find, building is handicap accessible, and there is a restroom. Restaurant was clean and well decorated. Staff speaks fluent English. And they have a kids menu with chicken nuggets.
