Update: It arrived over an hour and a half after the order was placed and the taste reflects this – lukewarm and tough.
I asked the employee working to remake it and she got extremely frazzled and frustrated when I asked how long it would be. I then asked about how to get a refund since I ordered through their site and she hung up on me. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
Tonight we ordered the family pick 4, and breadsticks. I typically take one to work the next day and she has one for lunch.
I got the Pig (pulled pork and BBQ). It was mainly fat from the pork (which… don’t get me wrong; that is tasty), but this time it was atrocious. The pork was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted – it was nasty cheese, (worse than school lunch cheese) and ONCE AGAIN the dough was undercooked and gross. I couldn’t continue.
In to the next test. The Bro zone. I tried, I couldn’t. Not sure if cheese was supposed to be in this calzone, but there wasn’t any. I do like cheese. The ham was not cooked, it was cold as if it came out of the cooler or was room temp, the other meats were the same. BUT, the thing that made this inedible was the dough. The dough is usually amazing, but this is the third trip in a row where the dough was undercooked and disgusting.
My wife got the Buffer zone (which I do not like) so I can’t comment. She said it was OK, not good, not bad. She said half of the cheese was melted, half wasn’t. She mentioned it was runny? Dunno if that’s how it’s supposed to be?
I’m not going to try the Italian zone, at least until I cook it tomorrow. I’m almost assured of getting sick tonight from the dough being undercooked. Time will tell, but in the fifteen minutes from eating and typing this message I already have “bubble guts”!!
We did spend 50 points (like I said I used to come here a lot) from my massive stockpiled amount for some cheese sticks…you guessed it, UNDERCOOKED and they didn’t even cut them into slices, smh.
I called to talk to someone about my experience. They said “the best can do is apologize” not in a mean way and I was not mean to them, but very respectful both ways. The only thing is they didn’t apologize, just make the statement that they could do that, which they didn’t. (Sorry if that was confusing). They did put me on the “make it right” list, but I really can’t fathom returning.
I’m pretty disappointed!
