The best authentic Mexican cuisine within an hour radius. Fantastic birria tacos and margaritas by the pitcher!!! You feel like you just walked into Mexico! The best part is, the family!!!! They make you feel like you’re at home. Amazing people running this restaurant. Always a stellar time here! Don’t forgot to do your shot of holy water (tequila) with abuela!

Great experience overall, nice authentic mexican cuisine Service was friendly and the owner is such a very nice person (warmth welcome, shots of tequila !! ) The decor is beautiful too!! Worth the try p.s; we had chicken enmoladas and carne asada (steak).

Excellent value. Staff very friendly. Popular with visitors as well as locals, who like Mexican, German, or Canadian food. We had mexican food on this visit. Food was served hot and quickly. Drinks cold and refreshing. This business has been around for 50 years with a few different owners, the building and decor is older but the atmosphere is super. In the summer there is a deck that overlooks the St Lawrence River. Great place if you are camping at one of the Parks of the St lawrence

Very, very bland.
It looks so enticing until you bite into it. Then it’s just disappointing. No one familiar with the vibrant taste of real Mexican food will enjoy this.
We talked to one staff member who told us that the spices are toned down for the local population…. we asked if they could tone it up a bit and were told no.

OMG!!! You can’t ask for a better Mexican experience in overall. Starting with the customer service, interior, exterior and most importantly the food are simply beyond our expectations. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are huggggeeee…
There are ample parking spaces outside and you are lucky if you get a table inside, but don’t worry the patio also splendid. If it’s your birthday, you’ll be wished with a traditional Mexican hat on you. The ideal itinerary is, catch the sunset in between the Long Sault Parkway drive, take some memorable pictures and visit here for dinner to complete the most fascinating evening you’d ever have in your life.

This restaurant saved our night!! A friend and I were passing through and dying for something to eat. We saw this restaurant on Google Maps and it had some good reviews, so decided to check it out. WOW, it did not disappoint. The drinks were huge, the food was delicious, and the staff were so charming, upbeat, and just all around lovely. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often! (I got the Tostada’s and would definitely recommend!)
