I stopped by to try this coffee shop and overall it was an okay experience. The shop has a clean, open concept layout, but it’s oddly shaped, there’s really only room for about three people to stand in line since the entrance is directly behind the ordering area.
Service was fine, nothing standout but not bad either. I ordered a hot Biscoff latte and a hot Spanish latte. The drinks are a bit pricey, which I understand since they only offer one size (16 oz). Personally, when I’m trying a new coffee shop, I prefer having the option of a smaller size like a 12 oz or less.
Unfortunately, I didn’t really care for either latte. They weren’t terrible, just not my preference. Still, it was nice to sip on them while I was there and check out the space. I may not rush back for the coffee, but I’m glad I gave it a try.

Such a cute and cozy café spot. Everything we tried was so good.

We ordered the Stories double latte, toffee nut latte, and a banana crème matcha, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Perfect balance. For pastries, we had the Dubai chocolate croissant and the Dubai chocolate-covered strawberry cup, both were a treat and definitely worth trying.

You can tell they care about the quality of their drinks and desserts. Everything tasted fresh and well-made.

The service was friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is calm and comfortable, a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done.

Will definitely be coming back.

A nice tea shop with free wifi and some working spaces. It’s new and clean. A few people were working or doing homework in the seating area. It feels very family friendly. Most non-coffee drinks are mixed power so I couldn’t have the no sugar version I wanted.

First time going to this place and it was great. Got the pistachio latte and it was delicious. Not too sweet and you definitely taste the coffee. Love their simple menu, give me a chance to try everything. Definitely will be back.

This was my first time at Stories Cafe, when I walked in I received a friendly greeting and she was extremely helpful in helping me decide what to order. The coconut matcha is soooo delicious and the pastries looked next level. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing family and friends.

It was my first time here and I was not disappointed! I ordered the biscoff latte, half sweet and it was perfect. The owners are also extremely sweet and welcoming! Happy there is a new coffee shop in Whittier. I will be sending all my friends here 🙂

Amazing coffee, pastries, and atmosphere !

As someone who loves supporting local coffee shops Stories Delivers!
Reading the other review regarding the menu lacking is quite misleading. They do have a good size drink menu and I wish I couldve tooken pictures of the interior.

Small shop so I can see it getting crowded during rush hour but the selection from the drinks to the pastries are worth it.

I usually have a dumb convoluted order but the women at the counter who took my order was very kind and patient and communicated to her team about what I wanted and met my needs!

The Dubai Croissant was delicious and well worth the price, if you go to any coffee shop you know prices range but it was delicious! I also got the Dubai Cookie which was also good but very indulgent and sweet! (Def recommend both)

If youre in the area please support your local business, especially family owned! Will be coming here when im in the area again and again!

First time customer at this place after I saved it into my “to go to” on my Google maps. The reviews on both Google and Yelp are promising and so it was a “must try” for me, and it didn’t disappoint! This local coffee place is easy to locate, the staff is friendly and they can customize their drinks to your liking. I tried their pistachio latte and it was great! The taste of coffee and the pistachio were balanced and neither one overpowered the other. The ambience is calm and perfect for your “me” time or hanging out with a friend to catch up with. Prices of their coffee and pastries/food are reasonable. I highly recommend this local business — it honestly beats Starbucks and I will be a returning customer!

I’m not the type of person to write bad reviews but this place deserves it. Honestly bad customer service. I went in today with my sister and we wanted to try the mango matcha and we ended up not liking it. The mango syrup or whatever it is they use tastes very artificial/extremely sweet. We were asking if we could get another matcha, just a plain matcha latte but the girl at the register was being passive aggressive about it. I think her name is “Mouhame Awada” not sure. That was the name on my receipt. Anyways, she was essentially telling us that we couldn’t get another matcha, if we wanted another one we would have to buy it. Mind you we just paid $18 for two matchas, one that was disgusting. It was my first time and I was highly disappointed. Do not recommend if you like good matcha and do not recommend if you like great customer service. Especially for overly priced matcha.

Absolutely loved this spot! The iced matcha was refreshing and smooth, and the pastries were chef’s special, so fresh and delicious. Moh, the owner, was super friendly and took the time to explain how everything was homemade. You can really taste the love in every bite. Can’t wait to come back!
