We stop here occasionally. Not our go to for steaks. Have had ribeyes with tons of chewy parts. Got the chicken and the veggie plate. I thought the rolls were overcooked. Wife thought they were fine. The mushroom chicken was pretty good and served hot. The beans looked like canned, but were hot and had a smoky flavor to them. The loaded mashed potatoes were good, but tepid. Wife said the salad and the vegetable plate were pretty good too.

Such a bummer. I talked this place up to my in-laws and brought them here on my MIL’s birthday because I have always loved TRH.
We arrived and our feet were soaked and sticky upon sitting down. It was as if someone had spilled multiple glasses of soda under our table because there was a large pool of liquid. The server was so annoyed that I asked for a mop (I even said I would be willing to mop it myself if she could just grab a mop or rags.)
I told everyone to order one temp less than they actually desired because this location tends to overcook it. I don’t mind, I just order accordingly and it’s usually great. So we all ordered RARE in hopes it would come out MR.
All of our steaks came out well-done. We were disappointed but we ate it and did not complain because they were busy and we all have worked in customer service and understand how stressful busy nights can be.
I ate half my broccoli but it was gritty and slimy so I decided to cut one floret open to examine what could be causing the texture. Hiding inside of each broccoli floret was at least a dozen larva sacks with black larva in the sacks. Our server saw and agreed that this was undeniably larva and said she’d speak to a manager.
She returned (without a manager) and said her manager had taken $3 off of our meal for the inconvenience. So sad. I loved this place.

The food is fabulous. The menu is large, so there is something for all. The service was great. We’ve eaten here many times throughout the years… We’ll certainly be back!

I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews, but since this happened twice, I decided to share my experience in hopes of helping the restaurant improve, because the food itself is excellent.
I visited the Sandy location and ordered an appetizer, but it arrived after the main course. I wasn’t happy about it, but I accepted it. On my next visit, I specifically ordered my appetizer well in advance of the main course because I wanted it to be served first. I even clearly explained this to the server who was assisting me, but he did not seem very attentive to my service overall.
I constantly had to look for him and wait for assistance, including requesting drinks multiple times. In fact, I ended up having only one glass of soda because of the slow service, which was frustrating. Despite my request, my appetizer again arrived after the main course. This was very disappointing, because I personally enjoy having the appetizer at the beginning of the meal, enjoying it with my drink, and then moving on to the main course. It was even more frustrating that my request for the appetizer to be served first was not taken into consideration.
Additionally, when the main course arrived, one of the side dishes — the rice — was missing. I informed the server and asked for it to be corrected, but it took a long time. By the time the rice arrived, the meat was almost cold, and I had nearly finished it because I could see it was getting cold.
Overall, my visit was frustrating, and I believe this is an area that could be improved. Recently, I even received an email offering me a complimentary appetizer for my birthday, but I chose not to redeem it because I was concerned about experiencing the same frustration of ordering an appetizer and not receiving it at the proper time.

My waitress and bartender, Kenzie, was amazing — warm, attentive, and just the right kind of friendly. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish, and her vibe added a lot to the overall experience.
The steak came out exactly how I ordered it — juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You could tell it was fresh and handled with care. The whole meal felt like it was made just for me, and that’s rare.

We had joined the waitlist before we got to the restaurant, our wait time to be seated was about 2 minutes. It was our first time at the location, so we had a courtesy treat of pulled pork with a toasted bun. It was delicious. Every staff were professional and they checked in from time to time. The bun with the cinnamon butter is to die for. Our meals took a bit of time, but we’re already full before we could even place the order. I tried something different on the menu and it was a great hit.

As far as steak houses go, the food is pretty good, the prices are good, and the service is always great. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, but I’ve been disappointed with the food once or twice. (The grilled shrimp is surprisingly good though!)

Excellent restaurant to go eat meats, delicious beefs, and the Cactus Blossom is very tasty with its sauce. Don’t worry if the sauce runs out, the waitress will bring you more. I love the atmosphere, it’s very pleasant. And if you want to surprise someone for a birthday, they bring out the saddle for the birthday person to ride and feel like a cowboy while they sing happy birthday.

Sandy Texas Roadhouse has some of the most delicious food that I have ever tasted in UTAH! We celebrated my nephew La’Troi’s 15th Birthday! This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse. I love the dinner rolls and cinnamon butter. DELICIOUS. I ate a delicious chicken fried steak smothered in gravy onions and mushrooms, loaded mashed potatoes, and corn. The food was so good. The hospitality was amazing. My Queen Sister Shakeyla Davis and I had a really good time with all of my nephews.
