Wife and I decided to go to On The Border. Looked on Google Maps and found the closest place. It was located in Aurora at the Hilton Garden Inn. Thought is was strange that it was inside the hotel but not unusual. Clicked on the menu, it showed the full menu options as other OTB restaurants. We arrived, walked in and it was a very small place with a bar and some tables. The server sat us and gave us this one page menu that had very few food selections. When the food came out it was served in a plastic dish and plastic fork and knife, our drinks were also served in a small plastic to go cup. I was in disbelief. Especially since they charged full prices for food at their full service restaurants. It was like ordering off a food truck. Food was not very good. Taste like microwave food. Would not suggest eating at this location.

This Place Was Far Below my expectations especially as a first time customer the service from my server in particular was TRASH she was super inattentive and took a lifetime to bring boxes and collect the tab. The food is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. The server was so out of it she brought the wrong order. Just didn’t have a CLUE the food was decent. The steak was tender but the rice was over cooked and overall this just isn’t a place I Would Recommend let alone come to again SAVE YOUR MONEY

I had the Brisket tocos with a fried flower tortilla. The food was excellent. Their chips are hand made & the salsa was authentic. I am not from here but if I lived near by I would make this place a regular stop to get my Mexican food fix.

Taco Tuesday? More Like Taco Tease-day!
I waltzed into this On The Border ready to embrace Taco Tuesday like it was a long-lost friend, only to find out that the fiesta was canceled. Yep, you read that right—no Taco Tuesday at this location, despite the website’s promises of taco-filled joy. I guess someone forgot to update the site, or maybe they’re just trying to lure in unsuspecting taco lovers for sport.
But hey, I figured I’d make the best of it and ordered the $16 taco salad. I was expecting a glorious medley of flavors, but what I got was more of a sad lettuce wrap with an identity crisis. It was basically just beef and lettuce, with a side of disappointment.
This On The Border needs to get on the ball with their website updates and rethink their taco salad recipe—unless, of course, their goal was to make me wish I had gone to a drive-thru instead. 2 out of 5 stars, and that is for the chips and salsa that tried (but failed) to distract me from my taco heartbreak.

I didn’t think you could mess up Mexican food…I expected more! I guess cause I’m from Texas! Lol
Well, I ordered a sampler platter and I threw majority of it in the trash! Like I always say, I’m a salsa and queso person and theirs was horrible! Both were straight out of a jar!

Now only uses plastic “to go” silverware and cartons for plates, even if dining in. When paying full price to dine in I would at least expect a plate and minimal metal silverware. Food was ok at best. Menu is very small.
No chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants.

The food was absolutely disgusting. Tasted microwaved & undercooked. Absolute ripoff for what we paid. And my vegetarian enchiladas weren’t served with vegetarian rice, like the description showed.

Service is great! Unfortunately, they keep reducing their menu. There is no longer steak or shrimp available at this location. Yet it is still listed on the company website. Whom ever decided to remove these should have removed them from the website and any delivery menus immediately. Their employees should not have to be dealing with the backlash of this giant error. Apparently, this has been going on for a while. Images on Google I have reported as they have not had the menu available for months.
Atmosphere is fine. It used to be great, but no one wants to dine here anymore.
Even with a limited selection, there is no good reason to only offer kids nachos. Regular nachos used to be on the menu. Why get rid of the option? Especially with you only have 2 apps actually available.
Unfortunately or fortunately, I foresee OTB pulling out of this location very soon. This location hurting their brand.

Don’t spend your money here. The food isn’t good. It’s not even mid. Canned cheese queso that was repulsive. The food for my wife was not cooked. Cold beans, unmelted cheese enchiladas. Just don’t do it.

I so hate to give bad reviews, but sometimes you just have to. I took my brother and sister to dinner at O.T.B. The restaurant had no atmosphere or personality and felt like an afterthought for the hotel lobby. The waiter didn’t know the menu and kept running off to ask co-workers the answer to our questions. And he kept getting our drink order wrong. Even though there were only a few customers there, we waited for over 30+ minutes before our absent waiter brought us our food. The food looked good but was completely cold. We were so disappointed that when we finally saw our waiter, we asked that he package up our order so we could take it to go. When I got the bill, I was left speechless..$110.00, and the food and service was beyond horrible, and they suggested a minimum of $25. I don’t mind dropping that high amount and tipping the wait staff appropriate if we got great value, service, and awesome food. However, that was not the case. Save your money and go somewhere else.
