I absolutely LOVE this place. I just started eating sushi very recently and tend to be very picky about what I like. The service here is exceptional! Every time I’m here the servers always recommend the best items and are super knowledgeable with the menu. I thoroughly appreciate the energy they put into providing such an amazing service. The food here is amazing. I haven’t had one thing here that I don’t like. The miso black cod and spicy tuna bites are by far a favorite. The nigiri is so good, with the perfect fish to rice ratio. You can tell the fish is really fresh and being from the north east coast moving to Colorado, good fish has been hard to find but Sushi Den delivers! This was my first sushi restaurant in Denver and it’s actually been hard to find another sushi spot with the same quality and service. Always enjoy coming back here!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Sushi Den! The fish quality was exceptional – incredibly fresh and flown in daily from Japan. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic. Service was attentive, though we had to wait a bit longer than expected during peak hours. Overall, highly recommend for sushi lovers looking for quality Japanese cuisine!

The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and the staff was super friendly from the moment you walked in. They have a large selection of fish from around the world, great daily selection specials, and a good variety on their menus. The have a large selection of sake to choose from, though all them are fairly pricey. The main draw is the sushi and sashimi, however to have a good selection of other traditional Japanese meals to choose from as well. The presentation was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. The service was quick and attentive. A great experience on all fronts.

This place has amazing sushi. All of our dishes tasted super fresh and clean. They were super fast when it came to bringing our dishes out considering how busy they were the night we went. Highly recommend it here ! Great food & atmosphere !

This was the best sushi I’ve ever had. To start off, our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and even in the process behind the sushi.
My favorite was the Tuna ( can’t remember the exact roll), the saki was the best I’ve ever had too! We ended up getting Banana Cream Pie which was a 9/10.
If you are in the Denver area, this is the spot to get sushi. Service was 11/10

Wish I could give more stars than what’s available for the service Brad provided us. Brad was extremely busy taking care of other guests and somehow managed to pay us full attention, patiently listen to us and recommend all of the best dishes to enjoy. His charisma and understanding took the experience at this restaurant over the top and was the perfect cherry on top for our visit to Denver. Not only did we come in as first timers not knowing what we wanted, but we came in close to closing and he took his time with us and made thoughtful recommendations and was extremely kind. One thing that amazed us was how much the staff (including the chef) care about the food they’re serving us. We weren’t the biggest fans of one of the apps we ordered, and Brad sent it back for us, and a group of staff along with the chef solicited constructive criticism, tried the app together and cared enough to make the necessary adjustments for next time. And they served us a great alternative after. Thank you so much Brad, Sushi Den, and staff! We will be back and recommending to everyone

Enjoyed my visit to Sushi Den. The ambiance is cozy and lively, and sitting at the counter was a highlight , it’s fun watching the chefs work right in front of you. The sushi chef was friendly, and we had a brief chat while he prepared our order. Service was great too. I dropped my chopsticks at one point, and the waiter brought me a new pair within seconds, which I appreciated.
The sushi was fresh and delicious. We tried one from the Tokyo menu, and it was impressive. Overall, good food, attentive staff, and a great spot for sushi in Denver. I’d definitely come back.

Went out to eat here for my birthday. Amazing experience! Open kitchen. Friendly chefs. Fresh and delicious sushi of all kinds. The whiskey flights were awesome as well. Affordable considering the quality of everything. Will definitely be back.

I don’t usually go out of my way for sushi—especially in landlocked states. Unless I’m somewhere like Japan or Hawaii where freshness is a given, I tend to skip sushi altogether. That said, this place completely changed my mind.
I asked our server for her recommendations and every single thing she suggested was an absolute 10/10. The balance of flavors, the textures, the overall execution—everything was just spot on. I’m not typically someone who enjoys straight raw fish, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park here.
This was one of those meals where you keep looking at the next bite thinking, okay, wow… that was better than the last one. I’ll 100% be back, and I’d trust the staff’s recommendations again without hesitation.

Food was spectacular! Everything we ordered was incredibly good. Every dish was full of flavor. Our server Tim was absolutely amazing and exceeded every expectation.
