Probably our favorite French place by far in the triangle. No mass produced food here. Every dish is clearly made fresh with care. I’ve never not had a top tier dish here. Everything is always perfectly cooked and gorgeously plated and the service is impeccable.
My lamb was fantastic. The red wine reduction paired perfectly with it and very rich. My risotto was great and even the carrots and green beans were perfectly cooked with exactly the right amount of seasoning.
The charcuterie plate was the most generous and varied I’ve had of any of the restaurants I’ve tried.

Wrote a review on open table but forgot about Google! So writing a very late review from April 2022 but had to write this review to tell you if you want good french food and wonderful service go here! My husband said it was the best french onion soup he has ever had! Escargot was delicious and authentic. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and felt very special- service was incredible! Merci to St Jacques!

Everything we ordered was fantastic. The escargot was one of the best I’ve ever had. The oysters in a mornay sauce was excellent and unique. For the main course the duck was juicy and perfectly prepared. And for dessert we had something that was like a pan au chocolate on melted marshmallows. That was mouth watering. Highly recommend this place.

Wow. Just WOW!!! From the moment we walked in and was greeted by Maddie’s smile, we knew we were in for a treat! Everything we ordered was exceptional – from the Chef Board and Onion Soup, to our dinners of beef tenderloin and rack of lamb, it was AMAZING. Not the experience we were expecting from a strip mall restaurant, but thoroughly impressed. Fantastic service from Maddie as well. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my boy friend’s birthday today on May 14th. I tried the French cuisine the very first time. The food was amazing. Delicious I should say. The service was on point. Every dish made my day. I was in love with my plate, my food and the chef ❤️ Saint Jacques and the chef made our day

Went there for my birthday this evening. Great food great service. Everything was magnificent and phenomenal. I was speechless and touched about the quality of this place. It completed my 29th without any doubt. No one else will ever beat this place.
Started off from appetizer, soup, main courses till dessert and drinks for this special occasion. Very very impressed.
Ps. 10/5 stars. I loved the guy who served me today a lot. Can’t even remember his name. Very very professional and kind.

The chef always personally comes to the table with a special treat, quite impressive on a date. My boyfriend is allergic to nuts & seafood, and is gluten sensitive. They are always AMAZING about his diet restrictions, and very respectful and helpful with recommendations. Can’t recommend this place enough!! Very authentic European homey feel ❤️

Can’t Believe I’m typing a not so great review for SJ, after so many great experiences there. Duck was extremely undercooked, and lacked flavor. Yes I know Duck is served pink, but this was crazy. Rubbery mess. Short Rib was extremely salty. Squash Soup was the only dish that remotely reminded me of why I’m spending this much at this restaurant. Atmosphere was awkward, and felt uncomfortable. Table adjacent to us seem to be unhappy with their experience as well. Service, while adequate, didn’t live up to prior experiences. I know that restaurants are struggling right now, so I would give it up to a bad night. However, I had just dined here a month before, and it was excellent. I overhead the Waiter tell another table that they were under new management/chef…so I am left wondering if that explains the bad experience. Probably won’t return anytime soon. I left hungry. Enough said.

Not impressed with Saint Jacques. Website shows alcohol but all they have is wine (no sweet wine) so wine was nasty (I drank water) We had a great waitress “Alex..(a girl)” Tipped Alex good..she made our evening so much better. Don’t buy “Coquille Saint Jacques” it’s nasty. Lobster bisque was delicious and so was Creme Brulee. I don’t think we will be back.
