From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a fantastic experience. We were greeted by with a warm smile and had us seated right away. She checked in periodically and made sure our experience was a great one.

The food was incredible. Chef Ryan absolutely delivered. The lobster mac was rich, creamy, and packed with tender chunks of lobster—comfort food taken to the next level. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with a beautiful sear that showed off the kitchen’s skill. I could honestly eat the Chicken & Manchego Dip everyday.
The drinks were perfectly mixed. We had an espresso martinis which 10/10 recommend and definitely have again!
Can’t wait to come back. Huge thanks to Logan, Kate, and Chef Ryan for an unforgettable night. This place is a gem.

This was our 1st time visiting this place but definitely not our last. My husband and I are huge foodies so we are very critical when it comes to food, and they did not disappoint. The ambiance was very cool and romantic. Our server was training that day so we got a double dose of great service. Their happy hour selection for appetizers was incredible and everything tasted amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese was divine. The lobster was seasoned to perfection, and the Mac and cheese itself was super creamy, gooey deliciousness. The scallops went crazy. We ordered both of these twice. The wagyu bao buns are a must try! You can thank me later. This is officially one of our new favorite restaurants and we didn’t even order any entrees. The appetizers were so good we had to double back and we got too full.

Overall 7/10 not bad, but not for me
Very nice restaurant with friendly extremely friendly staff. Came for my brother’s birthday and made a reservation via open-table. It was for Sunday Afternoon so even though we switched reservation times, they still had our table ready and we were the only people there besides a few at the bar(it was NFC/AFC championship night). Our waitress was super friendly and explained everything that was asked. Amazing ambiance, perfect for their midnight club scene. All of the food took a very long time to come out, but when it did, it was delicious and hot. As i previously said, it was AFC/NFC night so i give the chef a brake, there was most likely only one and we ordered 7 plates. I had the salmon, which was super tender 8.3/10. I will post the rest of the food my family had, they all said it was pretty good. You’re really paying for the location and ambiance. As a restaurant, it’s not bad, but I would personally go elsewhere. If you want a drink or a quick bite with a small group and you’re in the area, I would recommend it.
Parking is tricky, i recommend rides share if possible. The parking spots behind the building are for UDF, with a few unlabeled spots, but they seem like tow-away traps. First come first serve parking on E 1st Ave.

From the moment we walked in, Noah made us feel so welcome—his attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for the whole evening. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was a standout. Chef Ryan clearly puts so much thought and creativity into the menu, and it shows in every bite. The flavors were bold, balanced, and beautifully presented. We left already planning our next visit. Galla is truly a gem.

The reviews of this place are misleading. While the place looks cute, and the food looks like it should be good- it’s not. The Manchego chicken dip is bland and seems to be made with canned chicken. My peach stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon was undercooked and underseasoned. The gargonzola sauce it was sitting atop of had a skin on it by the time it was brought out. My friend ordered the chicken club and the bacon came out flaccid and undercooked. The waitress took that away and that was comped. (My friend has never sent anything back in her life). My food came out after hers and I just couldn’t have them fire it up after she had sent hers back because I can’t be a Karen. I hate to leave restaurants a bad review, but this food was awful. Looked like it should taste good- but was the worst dinner I’ve had in years. I’m praying I don’t get sick from the little bit of chicken I did eat.
