spring roll & veggie pho are just ok, have had way better ones; but my mom really liked the crab paste one!

While walking around Lombard street, we came across Ly’s Vietnamese restaurant. We tried their Beef and Chicken Pho each along with spring rolls. Truly delicious! Very friendly, humble and courteous staff. Great find. We will surely visit again.

Quick, clean, and delicious! I don’t come to this side of town much but I needed a quick and filling lunch and Ly’s hit the spot with their rare beef pho. Staff was friendly and definitely a clean location. It’s hard to find a place where their rare beef isn’t super tough and honestly Ly’s had one of the most tender beef slices I’ve gotten at any place in the city so I 100% appreciate that. I’d like to come back to try their other dishes!

Delicious, inconspicuous Vietnamese spot along the 101. Busy and friendly mid-day; people like it here. Beef Satay Pho gets an A+ for flavor and spice. Homemade salted plum soda was unique, refreshing, and hydrating. They had a lot of unique drinks like this. I’d say overall this was the place I didn’t know I was looking for on my walk through the city. 10/10

The beef satay pho will change your life. I’ve ordered pho tai all over the country. Chicago, LA, New Orleans and a dozen other spots. This is the best place. Just spicy enough and just the right amount of savory. Just had it after 3 years of being away from SF and it lives up to my memories of it. The staff is excellent and friendly too. Please, if you love pho, this is it my friend.

Good Pho! And a nice quiet place – a welcome change from the noisy, crowded & overpriced places lining up Chestnut street!! I just had my fix of delicious chicken pho & Thai iced tea for brunch, and must’ve spent an hour enjoying it! The staff was very friendly & didn’t really bother me despite me eating really really slowly & enjoying my meal today! They have some good veggie pho as well – my favorite is still PPQ in Inner Sunset, but this just might be the best in the Marina. Give it a try, you might just add it to your regular spots!!

Had the beef pho with rare beef and beef balls. Soup was flavourful, decent portion size. Nothing mind-blowing but a solid spot if you’re craving pho/Vietnamese food.

Just stopped by for lunch on Labor’s Day. Very delicious Crab Paste Noodle Soup and Five Chicken plate with rice. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is simply and nicely decorated. If you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, recommend Ly’s.

I didn’t actually eat food from Ly’s, but I have to say that they were extremely kind and helpful to me. I went into Ly’s with a take out bag from another restaurant and offered to pay for eating utensils, but they were nice enough to give them to me free of charge and wished me well without any attitude. The food I had was from La Canasta, which wasn’t that great and to make it worse, I wasn’t given utensils to eat with. I wish I would have gotten my dinner from Ly’s instead. They’re not open for indoor dining yet, but by the looks of the many take out bags waiting for pick up, my guess would be that the food is excellent. Wonderful people.
