I went here for some breakfast and it was A1! My server’s name was Lori and she was very kind, considerate and attentive. My food was piping hot, my sweet tea was perfect, and my belly was satisfied! I will most certainly be back.

I was with my Granddaughter and Great Grandson for brunch. We shopped before registering to eat. The staff was awesome. Hannah was our server and she was Great. They were busy, but Hannah didn’t miss a beat with service.

My man took me out for breakfast because I had been there once before and I told him the food was good well it wasn’t the eggs were not cooked all the way the hash browns were hard the coffee was old and we got one serving of gravy for us to share ( we ordered two) . We didn’t get our water so we tracked down our server for water even then we got just one. My man said he was never going back there

Let me start by saying that I NEVER give a 5 star review!! Basically because I believe that there is always room for improvement!! Today, I have no choice but to do just that!! I have pretty much given up on Cracker Barrel!! I personally find that there service, food and basically overall experience when you go anymore is mediocre at best!! HOWEVER….. TODAY ALL OF THAT WAS AND AMAZING!!! Let me start with Rico….When we initially walked in, we were greeted by Rico, very upbeat, 100% engaging and an all around super cool front of the restaurant host to be greeted by!!! Then, we were served by Tay……. this lady is the most phenomenal server, person, lady that the wife and I have encountered in a very long time!!!! She was INCREDIBLE!!! TOP NOTCH!!! On our way out, as we stopped to pay, the clerk that checked us out, continued the to carry on the awesomeness!!! We will be back on a Monday, when Tay is working, just too see her again!!! On top of all of that, the good was hot, delicious and exactly as ordered!!!! GOOD JOB CRACKER BARREL MILLER LANE, DAYTON OHIO!!!

Stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner on our way back from a trip and had a decent first-time experience. The restaurant offered ample parking, which was convenient after a long drive. The rustic, homey atmosphere was welcoming, and the menu featured a variety of comfort food options. Our meal was satisfying, with hearty portions and good flavor. Service was friendly and attentive, making our visit pleasant. While it wasn’t extraordinary, it was a solid dining choice for travelers. We’d consider stopping by again on future trips for a reliable and comforting meal.

Store was clean, hostess and cashiers were friendly, server was responsive and kept my drinks full, store was in good condition. Eggs were cooked the way I asked and chicken fried chicken was good. Gravy and biscuits were just meh. It was like wet flour on dry flour and both tasted like eating a handful right out of the bag.

Worst Cracker Barrel experience ever! No southern hospitality here. All the staff appears to be inept. Hostess, waitress and masked cashier. We stood at the hostess station behind two other parties for about 5 minutes while being passed by from multiple staff, finally realizing that we all arrived apparently at a shift change. Then instead of seating the guests first, we all heard disputes on who was available for seating and where. Eventually getting to our table #145 at 2:19pm, we had plenty of time to look over the menu and were ready to order when our waitress Lana H greeted us and asked for our drink order. We asked her to go ahead and take our food order too (thinking we would get ahead). She agreed and brought our drinks back to the table and mentioned that she would be putting in our order. This was after she took a previous table party of 8 order and dealt with another unhappy single customer on the other end of the dining area. So after about thirty minutes of no additional conversation with our waitress or staff, my wife politely stopped her and asked if our order had gotten lost, she advised no, she was bringing it right out. Now, she had already delivered the party of 8 their food and they asked for refills and jelly and so on… So she went to the kitchen, brought out the refills and jellies but still no food for us. I guess she couldn’t have asked for help if she was slammed, but probably not since there ware at least half a dozen tables open in her dining section with 3 waitresses total covering this area. After 43 minutes we left, took our table ticket to the cashier (masked male), to explain what had happened only to be told to “have a nice day”. Really… no apology, no empathy, no can I get a manager for you or nothing. Speaking of the manager, my wife tried to make eye contact with male manager moving back and forth between the kitchen and hostess station but he never looked up, never checked on the customers in the dining area and didn’t appear to support the staff. (It’s important to note that there were maybe only 12 occupied tables in the whole restaurant). After leaving, we drove down the road to City BBQ and had a wonderful lunch within 7 minutes to the table. Thank you City BBQ!!

Drivjng through Dayton yesterday and was looking for a place that we could grab a quick bite to eat…. Unfortunately it was Valentines day and every place had a 1-2 hour wait. I called Cracker Barrel and the recording said to go online and join the waitlist. So I did. It said 5-10 min wait. So I joined the waitlist and went inside. The gentleman at the counter told me that the website was inaccurate and it was going to be at least 40 minutes. Ok. But he also said that it would probably be another 30 after that before we got served because the kitchen was very far behind. Ok. Then a woman came from behind the kitchen door and proceeded to complain for 10 minutes about how everyone was over worked and exhausted and tired and they didn’t have enough staff and everything was just piling up. I GET IT!! We all have those days and I feel for the staff when they’re overworked …. But the solution isn’t to spend ten minutes complaining in front of a customer. I hope the management learns from this. Everyone was very nice but I felt bad so I left.

Only giving 1 star because there is no option to give 0! Out of towners family of 7, stopping by to get lunch….waited ten minutes at our table with no service. Asked for a high chair and waitress. Waited another 5 and still no server. So we left. My kids are super upset because they were excited for Cracker Barrel Breakfast. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

The food reminds you of a southern homemade meal. The staff is friendly, and the service was fast. I ordered a seasonal drink (watermelon lemonade). The drink was great and our food was hot and flavorful. Cracker Barrel is a place that delivers a great experience consistently.
