I came here last week and when I say it was amazing, it really was! I ordered the Vaso de Mariscos with a side order of tostones and an empanadilla.
The seafood cup with the fried plantains was my favorite! The fact that I finally found a place nearby that has this seafood cup, made my day! It was flavorful, it was fresh, it was all the above. The empanadilla could have used a little more meat as it was mainly breading that I ate, but overall, what I ordered was good, and I definitely plan to return again to try other things.
They have a small outdoor eating area and a couple of bar stools near the area where you order in case you want to sit and eat it there, and the wait was not that long either.
***Would recommend for a quick authentic puertorican bite for sure!

***Warning*** Mother ended up getting sick to her stomach for 2 days. This passed weekend on Saturday my mother and I decided to stop by this small little cafeteria called Pollo to Go. As I ordered my mothers food, I asked the young lady if they could please cook the pork chops to tender because my mother is a senior and has a hard time chewing tough meat. After waiting in the car I stepped out to collect our food and we went home. My poor mom was so hungry that she began to eat as we drove away. I could hear the crunching and spreading of dried out meat. I could not believe how the chops looked so old and crisp like they had been sitting under a heat lamp since 6 am. Then when I got home and looked at my chicken thinking it should be different. Nope dry and extremely salty on the outside and no taste in the meat. We both have had stomach pains and issues ever since. I called my mom today to check on her and she said she had been sick to her stomach all morning.

For a quick bite with good food. Pollo to go in Saint Cloud, FL Fairly priced. We had a large yellow rice with pigeon peas (arroz con guandules), very tasty, alcapurrias regular and yuca (beef and chicken), kids had the pizza empanadas. No waiter, service ok, order at the window and go. Two people manned the location. Almeris the cook, and Maria the person at the register.. I hope I got the names correct. Very nice individuals. 3 out 5… Don’t expect music, a play area for kids. Too hot to sit out and eat. Grab and go. Will return for other items on the menu. Enjoy!

I rarely leave reviews but I’m so inclined to do so bc of this Fantastic family owned PR biz! We eat here, at least three times a week! You get great sized portions of food that are hot, fresh and delicious and so reasonable! If you love Puerto Rican food, you will love it here! Their Mojito sauce and Plantano Maduro Mofongo is out of this world and a fantastic family working behind the scenes to feed your fam. Support this great local small biz! They are also on all the delivery platforms.

We ordered from this place for the 1st time through GRUBHUB. The chicken was super delishhh, very tasty, I loved the chicken so much that it transported me to my childhood in PUERTO RICO . The mofongo needed more garlic and more moist, it was very dry. The octopus salad was very good too. I’ll be buying the chicken from this place from no on. Haven’t taste one as good as this one.

Hands down worst value and worst tasting Spanish food in Osceola county right here. I have lived in saint cloud all my life. Maybe it’s a new owner now. Years ago it was acceptable food quality, cheaper and better portions. Still prefer thrifty for the value, selection but my father in law was hungry and wanted to try it out. I figured maybe it has gotten better now so we risked it. For $11 we got a small scoop of rice, only 5 tiny pieces of Chicharrone de pollo which are mostly bones in each piece and madura when we clearly asked for tostone. Chicharrone de pollo wasn’t seasoned well, only way too much salt. Tasted like a white man’s chicken, all you tatse is salt it is gross. No one could possibly try this and say it tasted good. The rice is definitely the worst I have ever had from any restaurant or home. It tasted old and mushy. The madura was ok but not what we ordered and there should have been no confusion my wife speaks fluent Spanish and clearly said tostone. I feel like they didn’t want to bother with making the tostone so just gave us madura instead. Save yourself the 20 min wait and the disappointment. I hope they go out of business soon and something worthwhile replaces them. We live so close, on the same street but will never go back again. We are $11 down and both me and my wife are still hungry. It was so gross anyways I don’t think we could have eaten more. See the attached pic for the 5 bones below before and after we ate them. Hardly any meat on the bone. It’s low quality meat for sure. You get the backbone and not even half of the leg. Paying top dollar for chicken backs and chicken ankles. Unacceptable! Well off I go to get some food for us to eat lol.

They’ve added a Puerto Rican flag to the side of the building so that’s why the moist delicious mofongo mixto a mixture of sweet plantains and yucca, soooo good! Also their signature chicken marinated in a garlicky herbed sauce, and arroz con gandules were delicious as well. They added a container of garlic sauce. Good stuff which never made it home, it smelled so good it got eaten in the parking lot lol.

This business has started to gouge customers. Their prices are high, and they short you on orders, then claim you didn’t order the missing items. These are indicators of a struggling business, trying to survive, and doing it wrong. They just lost a customer.
