On a Friday night, 5 people inside, no one wearing gloves, handling food. Couldn’t be bothered to stop their conversation and attend to people waiting to order. 3 cars got tired of waiting and left. The Sonic near St. Mary and Pinhook is way better anyway. Lesson learned.

Close to my house so it’s usually the convenience that brings us there. But the quality, usually moreso in the evening is low. The staff is usually pretty friendly but the prices for drinks are outrageous unless you use the app. $6.27 for 2 large drinks at the location. And that was AFTER I was bringing back a garlic butter burger (which is actually pretty good the previous time I tried it) because the “bacon” was rubber. Not in a joking way or a undercooked way- NO ACTUAL RUBBER. Or something the workers couldn’t even identify. It couldn’t be cut or torn, anything. It was thick and had ridges. Apparently in the 15 minutes it took from coking it to me getting home and trying to eat and coming back the cook that made it had left. At least they remade it I guess.

Thank y’all for being the only location in Lafayette that is actually edible. I will drive all the way from pinhook just to order from here. I’m from Monroe, moved to Lafayette 3 years ago and every location I’ve had has completely sucked. This location knows how to Sonic and it makes my heart happy. Keep up the good work!

Went early after an errand, and the woman who took my order was delightful! She answered the call button almost immediately, and was very cheery and friendly. Took my order quickly, and was just as delightful when bringing my food out shortly after. The food was good, per usual, highly suggest the cony and tots for a filling and delicious meal.

Franklin Sonic. Do not visit. Huge hole in their drive way. They will not fix it. Or put any warning or barrier up. Can not see it in dark or rain. You will damage your tire or vehicle. They will not be responsible for their inability to fix this hazard. Not happy.
