Now I been waiting a long time to review this spot. I will like to start off by submitting my vote for this spot for 2025’s best chicken of the year. Addition if they keep cooking like this 2026 as well. If you read my reviews you know I’m from Texas and Texas has a huge Caribbean influence there. So when I see Smoke Jerk Chicken with Sweet Potatoe Waffles, I’m like “you lying” . This place is beyond fire well the food is beyond fire. This is a food truck with no seating so it is delivery through the food apps or just go up and say high and order your food and pick it up. Either way you won’t regret it. Jeremy’s Chicken brings the Islands home to Washington. The chicken taste clean, seasoned well, with that nice smoke flavor I’m use to. Then is the waffles made with sweet potatoes. I mean they so good you can order these on their own. Which in fact you can. The also make other health congeous options like vegan smoke jerk chicken. Don’t know how that works but if it taste like the real chicken then we in business. They also make jollof rice, my folks really love the rice. Overall this spot should be 6 stars but we can only go to 5.

Jeremy’s Chicken is super bomb. I look forward to having it every Tuesday night that they are serving outside of Ravenna Brewery. The chicken is moist and perfectly seasoned. The jollof is moist as well but with just the right kind of bite to it. Plus, the service is fantastic. I am really rooting for this place to keep going!!!

(Side note: the food is on the spicier side, which I like, but that’s just a heads up as this is Seattle after all).

I’ve been visiting this food truck ever since they started and it used to be really good in the beginning – food was fresh, service was amazing, quantity was fair. It’s only been going down though when I’ve tried recently. The rice is hard sometimes, there isn’t enough chicken, and now they’re putting coleslaw in the small condiment container. They didn’t even give me the stew until I asked for it. The price also seems to have gone up since they started. Paying almost $18 and they’ve changed their container to a smaller one. I wish they’d go back to how they were because I’m not sure if I’d visit again.

I recently ordered takeout from Jeremy’s Chicken, and unfortunately, it left me disappointed. I got three items: a quesadilla, an entree, and a 3-piece chicken, totaling $52—which felt steep for the quality and portions. The chicken was dry, as was the rice, and the quesadilla, priced at around $22, was skimpy on meat and overall underwhelming. On the positive side, the service was good, and my order was prepared quickly and packed well. However, the taste, price, and portion sizes didn’t meet my expectations. I’d hesitate to recommend it based on this experience.

Ordered the Jollof & Chicken on Door Dash. It was supposed to come with tangy coleslaw, which was missing, but nevermind that here are the pics of what I got. This is exactly what it looked like when I opened the container. Part of the chicken had been eaten and it was not the delivery person because the bag was sealed. Jeremy’s couldn’t even be bothered with putting the lid on their sauce. Went directly into the garbage. Disgusting!

The food was great. The chicken had phenomenal flavor and was nice and juicy, and the sweet potato waffles were incredible. The Jollof rice was also really tasty. The vegan “chicken” mushrooms were fine: I ordered them because I don’t usually like chicken on the bone with skin (I suppose I’m high maintenance in that case), and they had good flavor and a nice portion, but I ended up stealing my husbands chicken. I wish Jeremy’s Chicken sold chicken breast or boneless bites with the same seasoning!!!

The truck was incredibly clean. I’ve never seen a food truck look so hygienic. And the staff (a bunch of young guys) were absolute sweet hearts. They seemed to genuinely care about customer’s liking the product, and they seemed really happy to be there.

I saw Jeremy’s Chicken will be back at Haywire Brewing in Snohomish this week. I’ll be there!

Great stuff . The chicken is definitely the highlight of the meal. Tender and you can taste the marinade all the way through. Great grill mark too on the chicken. The jollof rice is great but lean more on tomato side of things and I could use some more of it.

Well worth for the price. 18$ for 4 pcs chicken (pretty big), jollof rice, coleslaw, and red stew. Crossing my finger that they can be consistent.

Friendly service, excellent vegan chicken made with lions mane mushroom and top notch sweet potato waffles. Waffles were crisp and fluffy, and the vegan chicken was marinated seasoned to perfection with an authentic grilled/smoked texture and flavor.

I have only 2 pieces of feedback:
1. I couldn’t find anywhere at all to have a seat, a small picnic table would be really nice
2. The lions mane isn’t super filling so it’d be nice to have a heavier side option for vegans like beans or mashed potatoes for people with bigger appetites.

Thank you Jeremy for making my Monday! The food was so flavorful. You can tell he puts love into the food. I got the rice plate for under 20 bucks and thought to myself, ( My 20 dollars was well spent today). From the skin, to the spices, to the meat, chicken was delicious. I’m not a big rice fan, but the texture and flavor was just right for me. Super light and refreshing coleslaw put the whole dish together though. Right down the street from my house, I’ll be back often. Looking forward to the waffles next time.
