Warm & friendly, attentive staff with an adorable country chic atmosphere. Food was delicious, as well. I got the #6, 8oz. ribeye, eggs & hash browns and the bf got the country skillet with scrambled eggs. Our waitress was bubbly and attentive. The ONLY negative comment I have is about 1/4 of my ribeye was fat, which can just be the cut. But we will absolutely be back. Its a cute little place next door to El Sabor Poblano Market. Give it a try!

Their parking lot is small. There is a large gravel lot to the south but it can get messy in wet weather. After arriving we were seated promptly. The seating consists of tables and chairs, and tables with a bench side and chair side. The benches are hard wood with no padding. Some of the chairs don’t have padding either. The interior is spartan with little decor. On this 45 degree day the interior was comfortably warm. The waitress arrived shortly after we were seated. She was friendly. My wife ordered the French Toast with a side of bacon. I ordered the #5 which is two eggs your way, toast and hash browns. I also ordered a half side of biscuits and gravy. We both ordered diet Pepsi. They have Pepsi products! Yea. Our food came quick, and the restaurant was fairly busy. My scrambled eggs were awesome. The best I’ve had in a while. The hash browns were also very good. Not greasy at all. My two slices of wheat toast were cold. My biscuits and gravy were good. The gravy wasn’t very hot. It was luke warm. My wife said her French Toast was “okay”. The bacon was good but they were very thin slices. Overall it was okay.

Clean and they get tables cleared off quickly using clean cloths! Food was hot and tasty. Dishes coming out, looked appetizing. Saw lots of smiles, especially on our faces! Fruit was fresh, toast wasn’t burnt, and coffee was hot and plentiful!

We had a great breakfast here & very much enjoyed our visit. The service was prompt & polite and the food was quite good. It has been some time since I was at a new restaurant and was not shocked by the high prices. Helen’s is very fairly priced and the portions are quite significant and well prepared. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is SUCH a hidden gem. It might be easy to miss from view but MAKE SURE YOU DONT! The food was SO GOOD, we ordered the All-Star Skillet and the Oreo Waffle and both were incredible! The food came out quickly and the service we got was very kind. The waffle was airy and light so it wasnt heavy or hard on the stomach, and the whipped cream was tasty. The skillet was exactly what I needed for a hardy savoury breakfast food. It was perfectly buttery and was also not bad on the stomach! Definitely come give this place a visit!!
