I’ve always loved Auntie Anne’s, but unfortunately this location inside Wal-Mart really hurts the brand’s reputation. The pretzels here are consistently overcooked, skinny, and not up to the quality you’d expect from Auntie Anne’s. On top of that, the staff are often rude and unhelpful. If they run out of a specific kind of pretzel, they refuse to make more—even when customers are asking and willing to wait.

It’s disappointing because people come here wanting to support the business, but instead leave frustrated. Looking at the other reviews, it seems I’m not alone. Hopefully Auntie Anne’s corporate takes notice, because this location is giving a great company a bad name.

Do not order from this place on GrubHub or DoorDash if you want to ensure your food is safe. I spent $20 for 2 cups of pretzels only to get it and they didn’t even close up the bag for the DoorDash individual. My bag came to me completely open. the least they could’ve done was close our bag to ensure our $20 pretzels were fresh and didn’t have nasty in them.

Pretzel Quest 2022: They advertise large plump pretzels, but their actual products are little and scrawny. Hardly any salt at all. It’s inside the Walmart, so I guess I should have known nothing good would come out of this. Ha.

Arrived at opening time, only to be told it’ll be a 20 minute wait. It is customery to have food hot and ready to serve at the time of opening. You shouldn’t JUST be getting started prepping at opening… But, from reading the reviews, I see that this is the norm here. Lol. Disappointing.

I asked for pepperoni. The guy said no. So I got cinnamon instead and I knew it was going to be hard and it had been sitting under the lamp for hours.
I said I would wait but the guy kept saying no I don’t have it. I am like wow.. they are gonna to lose this location if they keep doing this. I am not wasting another dollar here.

I’ve been going to the Aunt Anne’s inside the Walmart in Gladstone, Missouri and purchasing the pretzels for awhile. I decided to download your app.

I presented the supposed Owner with my app, which shows I can make an in-store purchase or use the app for any pretzel product.

He told me that the coupon was for a bucket and I showed him several rewards I earned. He is sometimes very rude and then sometimes okay.  I believe he doesn’t understand the difference of the requirements.

I read the reward to him and then he said it was for delivery. I showed him again for in-store purchase. Then, he said you need to scan the code. There was no code which I tried to show him. He told me to leave his store and not come back.

I stepped out of the line, so he could service other people and review the coupon. He didn’t want to look over the reward and again, told me not to come back. I walked out without my treat.

I told him some time you’re okay and are sometimes downright rude.  Overall, I don’t blame it on language barrier. I believe as an Owner should understand his reward page and requires training to assist anyone and me, a repeat customer.

On my Google review page, I initially gave him a good review, yet I find myself in a more than unusual humbling stance to not tick him off. There has been other instance, as far as not hot pretzels I purchased and just said forget, well not this time. I appreciate a response and he needs to receive trading on products, rewards and customer service.

Been twice now and I thought maybe the lady was having a bad day or something the first time but I got the same service the second time. 10/10 don’t recommend I’ll be going to the mall if I want a pretzel from now on.

Eveytime I go to this location they never have Almond pretzels. Once I had some time and they told me it would be 15mins so I said I’d wait. I waited and they gave the pretzels to another family saying they had ordered first so mine would take another 20mins. I was upset about the waste of time so I left. Today I thought I’d try my luck and I was pleasantly suprised to see that there was an Almond pretzel made and ready to go. I ordered it and 3 orders of pretzel bites for my children. Unfortunately I left my hand sanitizer home so I couldn’t eat it in the car. I got home, washed my hands, gave my children their pretzels and sat down to eat mine. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED!!! The pretzels were rock hard, it scratched the roof of my mouth. I’ve had captain crunch softer then this pretzel. I’m highly upset

Agreed with other comments regarding the separation of Subway & Auntie Anne’s staff: things were better when employees were not forced to wear so many hats. The wait times are long because there are so few folks doing so many responsibilities. It is setting both businesses up for dissatisfied customers unfortunately.
