I stopped by Parrots Bar and Grill and tried the smash burger and we had a salad. Both were delicious!!!! The burger had that perfect crispy edge and tons of flavor, and the salad had tons of fresh fruit and was amazing. The whole place is my new favorite place in the Walden area. 10/10 will be back forsure!!!

So happy Parrots Nest Bar & Grill opened. The food and drinks are amazing, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Montgomery. The chef Gaby knows how to make damn good and the bartenders and servers are always quick and attentive. Great spot all around!

Parrots Nest Bar and Grill is at the new Twisted Parrot RV park and open for now on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Our first issue was that the gate was closed to get to the restaurant- we had to try to find a number to call the restaurant to have someone come let us in – we saw others just turning around when they couldn’t get in.
When first seated, we sat there for around 10 minutes before we had to ask who our waitress was (exact same thing happened on our second visit). It took forever to get the food (only about 6 other tables had people at them – it was well over 40 minutes and it was the exact same on the second visit). Our waitress came to check on us once – my husband and I both asked for drink refills and she never brought them. We had to flag someone else down. And we had to chase her down to get our check. To the Manager – you HAVE to get the service fixed before high season starts!!!
The only redeeming experience for both nights was the food was pretty good. The fries are excellent. That’s actually what brought us back for a second visit. But even though the food is pretty good, the service is AWFUL. And we are bummed – the location is just across Walden Road from our neighborhood. It will be a while if ever before we try it again.

Parrots nest bar & grill is the BEST!!!! I ordered the Cowboy Cheesesteak, and I can honestly say it was the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had!! Packed with flavor and cooked perfectly with just the perfect amount of kick. The atmosphere is a Vibe! The view looking out toward the water is incredible, and the huge fire pit outside creates the perfect spot to have a drink on the chilly day we went. On top of all that, the prices are super fair for the quality you get. Absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back!
