I ordered the Sundaeguk (순대국) for $17, and it was absolutely delicious. The soup was incredibly hearty, rich, and comforting — exactly what you want from a good bowl of sundae soup. The portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh. The kimchi and kkakdugi sides were also crunchy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the soup.

The restaurant operates self-serve style. You order at the kiosk in the front, they call your number when the food is ready, and you pick it up at the front corner. Water, utensils, and seasonings like salt and pepper are all available for you to grab yourself, which makes everything quick and efficient.

The only downside is the space — it’s quite small inside. When I went, there was still plenty of seating at tables and booths available, but I’ve heard it can get really packed during peak hours. Overall, if you’re craving a comforting, authentic bowl of Sundaeguk, this place absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be back!

Went here with my family last weekend and really enjoyed it. The place has a modern, youthful vibe, though it’s a bit on the small side. The food tasted great and the price was reasonable. I especially liked the self-service style — it made the experience more fun. Definitely planning to come back again, and no tip is needed here.

Tonight’s Korean feast was incredible! The spicy stir-fried pork was perfectly sweet and full of flavor, paired with crispy squid and chive pancakes. The cold buckwheat noodles offered a refreshing sweet-spicy bite, but the pork and rice soup truly stole the show with its rich, comforting broth and tender meat. I also savored the savory blood sausage and fresh pork wraps with kimchi—pure comfort food done right! Best of all, it’s self-service with no tipping. Can’t wait to come back!

Korean food has a special place in my heart and whenever I’m needing some i always head to Duluth. I passed here and instantly made a U-turn to go here instead. My friend and I were not disappointed in the slightest. It was his first time having AUTHENTIC Korean food and he was blown away. All the dishes we had were full of flavor and I always love my soup based dishes but the real MVP was the dumpling! Never in my LIFE have I ever had such abundance amount of flavor and perfect texture when talking about a dumping but my word…… I won’t say anything else but if you don’t have a full dish at least have some dumplings because…. ppsshhhh just have one!

My husband and I visited a samurai ramen restaurant for the second time during our trip. Our first impressions were so good that we went back with high expectations. We ordered Shiho ramen, Spicy Ton Kotsu ramen, and Chicken Karaage. My husband, who doesn’t eat spicy pork, ordered Shiho ramen, and the soup was clean and protein, so he ate half of the soup as soon as he started eating. The noodles are chewy and go well with the various toppings, so it didn’t take long to eat a bowl. I ordered Spicy Ton Kotsu ramen, and it was thick and flavorful because the broth had been simmered for a long time. Chicken Karaage served as an appetizer was crispy, and the texture was pleasant while eating. It was our second visit, and this time it became a happy memory. It is highly recommended for those who are considering a visit.

This place is the definition of a traditional Korean restaurant. There is no service and you order everything on the kiosk so you don’t have to it tip anyone. The place is small but is really cozy. The pork soup was very thick and really flavorful. It’s a perfect dish for anyone wanting a nice warming soup during the winter. 10/10 and recommend anyone to come here for some authentic Korean food .

I had Dwaeji Gukbap at Busan Daegee Gukbap, and it was absolutely delicious The pork broth was rich and full of depth, with a comforting, savory flavor. The meat was tender and paired perfectly with the well-seasoned broth. The kimchi was fresh, slightly spicy, and added a nice contrast to the soup Ordering through the kiosk was very convenient and made the process quick and hassle-free. The restaurant was extremely popular, and every seat was taken, which speaks to its great reputation. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient, and the overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I will definitely be back to enjoy it again

Nice non-bbq Korean restaurant. Love the self service option. Menu is small but good!
Can recommend the pancake and spicy stir fried pork with rice. The pork soup (specialty) was also good but requires a lot of additional spices to get to a good flavor
Interior is very simple.

Dinners with Dad, Not Pho Bac or Sambong edition, episode 888…Came back from Chattanooga and convinced dad to try a new place…Busan is the second largest city in Korea and that region is known for this dish…I told him I learned about it watching one of my K-dramas and the female lead was trying to win over her crush, who happened to be from Busan so she made this and he said, ‘Wow, this tastes just like the gukbap I get back home in Busan…haven’t been able to find it in Seoul…marry me and let’s grow old together…’ Convicing him to go was step one…he said, ‘Let’s just order soup each and if it’s good we can order more and if it’s not, we’ll go to Sambong…’ ‍♂️ Luckily, it was good but we were full so didn’t have to order anything else! It really was like a place you would find in Korea…kiosk ordering, no server, buss your own table…check them out if you’re craving a tasty pork soup or dumplings or bo ssam (almost every other table ordered this to go along with their soups)

Traditional Korean restaurant. Currently only have over ten choices of soup and rice, plus dumplings, pancakes and rice sausages. Self-service. The seats are a little crowded. The beef soup has very rich beef flavor. It is very delightful in cold winter.
