Reviews
Communication-called the order in and server didn’t know ‘pies’ was a form of pizza so confusion and explanation off the bat, no biggie. They said it was hard to hear me so I spoke up now I feel I’m near yelling into my phone, technical support needed on that end, maybe? Next,
Food- smell was on point, which is a good thing, smelled good all the way home. On the way I’m investigating the visuals of the Pies and stability of the slices-non but means 1 of 2 things: 1-moisture has ruined the bottoms of my pizza or toppings too heavy, but in this case it was that my dough probably was rested long enough for the ‘deep dish’ as they call it, not traditional for sure, but dough was still chewing implicating an unfinished cook. Taste was decent but overall became hard to continue eating. Next,
Service-other than them having issues hearing my order clearly, they responded pleasantly and with timely manners. Next,
Atmosphere-Stores sits in a corner nook so it is not dine in, and they have a 3 person bench to sit and wait. I seen customers order and go wait in their cars so take that as you need to.
Wasn’t the experience I was expecting from a newly opened business and I enjoy doing my reviews and trying new places.
By the way. The breadsticks was rolled in way too much garlic salt. Very salty.
Edit: upon further searching if you look at the actual menu and don’t rely on the ordering page it says pan style
Pizza was mid, not really a deep dish. Had no sauce on it, very few toppings for a nearly $20 pizza. Basically, what they call a “deep dish” is a pan pizza at every other pizza place. Minus the sauce, and with less toppings.
You’d find a better representation of a deep dish from a little Caesars, which is really saying something.
outer crust, and the crust on the bottom is undercooked.
Go anywhere else and order a pan pizza it will be closer to a deep dish than theirs. I have no idea why anyone would claim a chicago style when they are under 5 hours away from real chicago pizza they should know they will be shamed.
EDIT: Responding to all your negative comments that all say ITS NOT CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH with
“while you expect 1 thing we dont care”
IS JUST DUMB.
