I tried this location for the first time last night with my wife. It wasn’t busy and I was surprised to see both of the staff cleaning when we came in. These days it seems it’s phone time for employees when business is slow. We both had Philly Cheese Steak. They were high quality and both employees were very friendly and professional. I liked the fact that the steak strips were cooked on a grill rather than a microwave like the sub shop across the street. The bread was also very soft and had a fresh flavor.. This should be considered a normal restaurant experience, but these days it’s doesn’t seem to be the case, so it was a pleasant experience. I could see it being a little difficult to get into the parking lot from the westbound lane, but not as bad as some other places on 23rd. I will definitely eat here again.

I have been frequenting this jersey mikes location for years and I noticed a significant positive change in the restaurant a couple years ago when Chris began managing. Prior to this, there were long lines and service was very slow. Now I come more often because I can get in and out much faster. Chris is a very hard worker. The restaurant is clean and the subs are fantastic. I will continue to revisit this location.

My response to the owner (1/21/25): I thought maybe your response was sincere so I gave your place another shot. This time the guy that made my sandwich stopped midway through to ring me up. Didn’t bother changing his gloves after touching the register. If you cared about sanitation I think at least some of your staff would have been trained to handle food properly. I am going to report this facility to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for unsafe health and food safety practices.

Foods is great, but every location i go to these days seems way more concerned with online orders. 6 people working, two people servicing walkups with 7 or 8 people in line. Maybe the JM’s in my area should ONLY do online ordering.
