Valentino doesn’t have a menu; he only has seven types of pasta. He’s a master at presenting his specialties. For me this restaurant is one of the attractive options in Vienna.

Incredible food, but definitely dont come here hungry since the pasta takes a while. If you come being okay with waiting then this place has an amazing vibe and great food and the owner is very kind even if not the most talkative. Highly recommend, very special experience and the price was more than okay.

This was our first meal in Vienna, and what a memorable beginning. A tiny Italian spot, quietly run by just one man—he cooks, serves, and takes care of everything on his own, with calm dedication. The pasta was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The tiramisu, equally delightful.
As newcomers, we felt a bit nervous and didn’t quite know how to show our gratitude to the kind old man. But we left with full hearts, thankful for the warmth of this meal.
A gentle note: it’s cash only, and patience is part of the experience.

As the chef is the only person there, there is a long wait. Is it worth it? In my opinion, yes. Possibly the best pasta I’ve had in my life, it absorbed the delectable seafood broth and cooked to perfection. The tiramisu (Treviso original recipe-not too sweet, just right) gave me goosebumps. I usually don’t even like tiramisu but I love this one!

It was one of the best restaurant experiences in my life! It was a one man show. The waiter greeted us and said that there was no menu and announced the pastas he’s making today. He took our order and disappeared and we understood that he was also the chef who will be making our pastas. The atmosphere here is more Italian than in Italy itself with the cute little tables, paintings on the walls and Italian music playing. The portions were big. Although it wasn’t the tastiest pasta in my life I received a great pleasure eating it. The black noodles were super nice tho. When it came to the moment of paying the waiter/chef just wrote the amount on piece of paper giving us the discount (because I didn’t finish my dish). This was very cute. He also refused to take any tips. And you can only pay with cash. A true Italian experience in the heart of Vienna!

What a great restaurant. This is a one man show, with the owner serving tables and cooking. Great wine selection and fantastic pastas in a very intimate cozy environment. I absolutely loved it.

We truly don’t understand the enthusiastic reviews calling this place a Unique Experience. Yes, it is definitely unusual and unforgettable — essentially a one-man show, which makes it feel different from a regular restaurant. But we were extremely surprised, and not in the best way.
We spent 3 hours here, and the pasta arrived only after 2.5 hours. Considering how simple it is to prepare, this waiting time is simply too long. Guests should at least be clearly informed in advance that the wait will be hours, not 30 minutes or an hour.
Another strange thing: there is no menu with prices. You only receive a handwritten bill at the end, without having known the cost of wine, pasta, appetizers, or even water beforehand. That felt more than unusual.
As for the food — it was fine, but nothing special. Definitely not worth such a long wait. There is potential here, and a lot to improve, but overall, our experience was disappointing.

An amazing dining experience in the heart of Vienna! Very fresh and authentic pasta dishes and appetizers. I’ve had many good meals in Italy and this ranks up with the best. Homemade and extremely tasty and well presented. Bravissimo! Btw those who complain about the cost…a dinner with fresh ingredients this good with wine for 5 in Vienna…expect it to cost this much.
