Another piece of heaven I was able to find a I make my way across America. From the first step into this establishment, Emma and Claudia made this disabled veteran feel welcomed and at home. They were kind, professional attentive, rapid and truly went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. I had the Calamari for appetizer and I must say the rings were absolutely meaty. For dinner I had the Famous BRAT’. All I will say is I know why is famous! WoW and for desert I had the banana cheesecake as recommended and boy, it did not disappoint. Overall I highly recommend you to try this great place! INK approved

We had trio tonight to celebrate my fiance’s brothers birthday. I forgot to make a reservation thankfully we came early enough that they had room for four. Service was speedy fast I felt like, I loved the root beer they serve, my Caesar salad tasted amazing, and my entree was out of this world the Bow tie pasta with mushroom crème sauce with grilled chicken! It was amazing I was in awe with the quality of food and the price we paid! The bathrooms are also really cute set up and very clean! I highly recommend Trio Tap House to anyone!

We enjoyed the meal and the beer selection was amazing! My husband is a Steak fan and his only suggestion was to add a custom seasoning made by Trio.. Salt and Pepper isn’t enough for the amazing thick cuts. We loved the server, even though he was super busy. XAVIER visited and answered all questions, brought drinks promptly, etc. Expect to wait for a table at 6 pm.. its busy and hopping, but worth it!

Nothing short of exceptional from Hays. Seth was our waiter, and he was beyond phenomenal. Food was HOT, fresh, and delicious.
I had one of the mac and cheese dishes, fried mishrooms, and my husband had the Reuben.
A must try if you are in the area, just save us a seat!

I was told they had the best steaks from my daughter. Well, my steak was cooked alright but the taste was not good. Seasoned with salt and pepper only they said but I think not or the meat was on the edge of bad. Rest of my dinner was good. Asparagus was cooked just right. Waitress went to get the manager. We talked and said they would give me a discount. My discount amounted to approximately 2-3% off. I left half of my steak. I will not recommend anyone to have steaks here! Waitress was wonderful.

Over the years we have stopped in Hays in our travels. We tried Trio when they first opened and it as been our go to restaurant when it works out. Fortunately, we got to eat here twice this month. First stop we were super hungry and had the best ribeye with all the sides. Awesome steak. I usually don’t buy ribeye in a restaurant because I get good beef, but it was great. They also have great Mac and cheese! My husband is still raving about their soup. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff… 5 stars to Maddie!

The German Green Bean soup was the best. Large pieces of dumpling and potatoes, and bacon. Really nice favor! The bread on the Turkey Avacado sandwich was so good. It reminded me of a home made focaccia, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Highly recommend.

We stopped for a late lunch on Saturday. Their lunch menu is nice. My salad was fresh with tasty grilled chicken. Hubby’s German brat was good. Nice selection of beverages.

Best Restaurant in Hays.
We moved here about a year ago, and I’m actually mad our friends had not yet recommended TRIO to us. We went tonight for the first time, and we loved everything about it.
Most other places have one or two things going for them, but TRIO has it all. Great drinks and Bartenders, my wife wanted drinks off the menu and not only did they happily make them, they made recommendations for new drinks to try that were better than what she had wanted!
And the food. Best we’ve had in town. The Nachos were unbelievably good. My wife got the pasta, it was amazing, I got the fish tacos and they were SOOOO good, reminded me of the great fish tacos I got in California a few years back.
And to top it off, the service was fabulous. We didn’t want to sit at a table that was available when we got there, so they cleared another table people had just left and got us seated at it quickly. Then the Waiter, Jack, went out of his way to make sure everything we wanted was perfect. Making some special requests was not a problem at all, and he would ask for alternatives in case the cooks couldn’t make it happen. He was helpful, thoughtful, and energetic. That’s the trifecta of great service.
I honestly can’t say enough about this restaurant. If you haven’t tried it yet, you absolutely must.
