Had a nice meal with a group of friends (8) in Hays. Service was good and the food was excellent. Portions were generous and no one in the group had anything bad to say. I had the butterflied shrimp and they appeared to be butterflied and breaded on site, not just dropped in a fryer from the freezer. Great waffle fries and asparagus, too. The green bean dumpling soup was a hit with several of our group but I didn’t try it.

I don’t think I have the words to articulate how fantastic this restaurant is. The food was amazing, and Alex, server was excellent! I have not had a better stake. I would be money it was marinated in butter for a year. It was so tender and flavorful! Right when you think you can’t eat any more you get the banana foster cheesecake! Holy cow! Worth every bite past full!!! 100% recommend!

Driving from TX to CO and stopped in Hays. Decided to go out to eat vs something quick. The food was amazing! I got a bowl of chili and the trio side salad. Chili was great, salad was fresh. My aunt got the turkey sandwich and waffles fries and said it was so tasty. Also ordered the key lime cheesecake and it was Devine! I regret not ordering the steak because I’m sure it’s delicious. I don’t know when I’ll be back through Kansas but when I do I will go out of my way to come here.

What a great experience! My wife and I came to Hays as a stopover to denver and this place has amazing food. I got the Buffalo mac and cheese while my wife got the adult grill cheese. Both dishes were delicious and I’m pretty picky about my mac n cheese. Even the tenders were higher quality than ones you get at a fast food joint. We also got beer and it was reasonably priced. All in all a good experience.

Stopped here for dinner while traveling across Kansas. The food was very good – we had sirloin steak, and the prime steak salad, and the iced tea was good too! But what really impressed us was the service! The sirloin steak was ordered medium rare and it came out more rare, and the green beans were seasoned. My dad asked to cook the steak a little more and to have plain green beans. They happily did both and the chef went so far to ask how he would like the beans cooked… steamed or sautéed. The food came out perfectly, but only before asking if we were satisfied w everything else. Then after dinner they told us they would give us a dessert on the house. We chose bananas foster cheesecake which was also delicious! Great experience

Grabbed lunch with a friend. Our meals were very good. We had fish and chips and buffalo chicken with Macaroni and cheese. The buffalo sauce complimented the Macaroni sauce very well. The potato skins were very good too. Typically, potato skins are over cooked and dry. They have a good selection of beers. I really enjoy visiting here for a treat and something a little different.
